An-225 was equivalent to 6 x Y20 Wow !
May take the AN-225 multiple trips since there is just one left before the Ukraine war. It is certainly less political sensitive to the Europeans than using 6 Y-20s.

Not sure if you're joking or not, but if An-225 was intended to do the delivery originally, we do not know how many An-225 sorties it would have taken compared to Y-20 to make the full delivery.
They did do a stop over at Istanbul. That's about 6800 km directly distance. Although I am not sure whether the flight path is straight distance, or whether they got refueled at Istanbul.
This delivery seems to be causing quite a stir. Y-20 seems to be increasingly becoming a symbol of the will of the Chinese state, and not only internationally when they do this but also domestic with that delivery to Shanghai. People are taking visits by Y-20 as "the PLA is coming" and "the central government has its eyes on you".
