According to a few Google search, the distance between Xi'An and Belgrade is 7296 km. Is the Y-20's maximum range really 7800 km with 2 Type 15 tanks as per the wiki page?

They did do a stop over at Istanbul. That's about 6800 km directly distance. Although I am not sure whether the flight path is straight distance, or whether they got refueled at Istanbul.

Points out how the delivery must be a message to the west about China's airlift capabilities and that the presence of the HQ-22 is a threat to Serbia's neighbors.
This delivery seems to be causing quite a stir. Y-20 seems to be increasingly becoming a symbol of the will of the Chinese state, and not only internationally when they do this but also domestic with that delivery to Shanghai. People are taking visits by Y-20 as "the PLA is coming" and "the central government has its eyes on you".
