China's strategies against troll countries

As we all know there are a few countries who launch huge provocations for political benefits, both domestic and international. Sometimes they do it at the request of the USA. These countries are usually small countries in Eastern and Northern Europe. For China, by the far the worst offenders are Czechia and Denmark. The screenshots below are a summary of Czech-Chinese relations from a perspective of an anti-China Canadian.

Let me tell you what I see. I see a country who is poking at every sensitivity of China by endorsing multiple secessionist movements in China. And this country's standard response to China's written complaints are writing macho letters, ridiculing China and doubling down on what it's doing. At the level of individuals, people who poke at people's sensitivities and ridicule them when the other side complains get excluded from social circles, get fired or even get beaten if are talking about young people. But in today's international relations countries who behave in a similar toxic way get away with it thanks to Pax Americana and liberal theology.

A few things China could do:

1- Continue as usual. Verbal complaints and economic measures etc. This is not very effective but these troll countries aren't very relevant at the first place.
2- Suspend relations with trolls. This would be quite thought provoking for larger countries. But I think this isn't very appropriate either. Even warring nations don't withdraw recognitions.
3- Behave like the USA. This means underhanded aggression. Spoil the nation's economic deals by bribing politicians or other methods, veto UN resolutions that would benefit them, infiltrate the country and use extortion, sell the targeted nation's secrets to its rivals, employ social media trolls to defame the country, send mercenaries after their soldiers if they send soldiers to 3rd countries, cultivate and support radical groups in the country, etc...

I think the time has come for China to deal with the foreign endorsement of separatism in a more forceful way. What do you think?

It's best not to take them seriously and not engage. The trolls need validation from the reaction of an important country like China, which will give them reputation in their own country. You need to humiliate these people. Laugh about them. Publish their rude letters and question their intelligence. Something like the sleepy Joe meme is ideal for that.

At the same time as ridiculing their government officials, China needs to engage with "civil society". There's no point alienating all Czech people by labelling them all as Chimpy Czechs, even if that would be fun. Give some reputation to opposition parties and yellow vest like movements by meeting their leaders and delegitimise the official government. Once the insulting party is out of government, China can try to mend relations with them and pour in investments, even if it doesn't feel right.

Troll countries can still do more damage than their small size would suggest by moving opinion in more relevant countries like France or Germany whose people will take the side of David against Goliath. China should be above feuding with the Lithuanias of this world.

Nothing needs to be done. Any eastern European country pulling a stunt like this is doing it either because the Americans have told them to, or because they are trying to curry favour with the Americans. All are economic basket cases that can only function because of the billions of subsidies the EU gives them every year.

By the end of the year EU funding will dry up and all eastern European countries will be looking for a new sugar daddy. If the politicians are smart they won't be saying things to antagonise the Chinese too much, unless they prefer to start learning Russian again.

It smells like a war is coming. :/
it is not said that Russian gas will be exported to the EU again :/
For the troll states, China has banned some imports...which may be a problem for German exports (German outsourcing in Baltic states)

4. Start an overseas war with minimal costs for China that maximally drains the resources of the EU and puts these irrelevant uncivilized shit holes deep into the red.

Trolls can be trolled right back, except China does not deal with lowly trolls by themselves, when China wants to troll them back, it does so on the whole EU at once.

The threats of countries such as Czech Republic or Lithuania does not hurt the livelihood of even 1 Chinese citizen, but the reprisals on the EU will shut down many businesses, cause many ruined careers, and possibly quite a few people frozen to death.

Your move now, EU. Keep hanging up tibetan flags behind your leaders' desks while your population is hanging themselves up when they drown in bills and can't feed their families. Truly, European leaders are Washington's greatest court jesters.
