Well ... in fact these are regular Batch 03 & 05, maybe 06 J-11BH, which were always using WS-10 engines. New however is a MLU-package around allegedly a new AESA radar (= under a grey radome)
worth pointing out that the new PLANAF paint scheme use only one roundel on each wing, American style. And I really like that.
J-11BHG with gray radomes. The facility appears to be located on the Woody Island.
Yes ... I only wish, the new H-serial numbers on the intakes would be better readable and even more some sort of tail art would look cool.

Awesome photos of such as gorgeous aircraft! I don't think I'll ever stop loving 80's and earlier combat aircraft designs.
AFAIK the J-11BG‘s radar is NOT the J-16‘s. … and even if we haven’t seen it carrying a PL-15 it is indeed supposed to do so.
