I think the question to ask before that is who requested the phone conversation in the first place... that would then give us some hypothesis to work on what topics were on the discussion agenda
China's top diplomat Yang Jiechi had a phone conversation with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken at request Friday
Well at least he didn't ask to speak to the 'highest guy' in the US military
China does not excel in watch industry. I don't think Chinese people will mind if Xi wears a Rolex, or any other stuff, but just don't think he likes stuff as such. Things like this really reflect one's character and lifestyle. If one gives me a Rolex, I won't wear it but I'll sell it coz I don't like item like that and may find other better use of its monetary value.
Kim is free to use what he wants. If the west displease with that, just embargo him, don't sell to him.
But the essence, thing like is a non-news, is it really a matter what a leader wear? Do you pay attention to what watch, ring, gem etc a leader in a NATO land is wearing??? Well, unless it's as big and grand as Koh-i-Noor looted by Britain from the Indian subcontinent

Ya I got this watch. It's a good hand wound. Their automatic watches are pretty decent too. In general Chinese watches are pretty decent, they just don't advertise or know how to build a brand. A lot of the new watch brands now actually use Chinese movements from seagull or miyota. I recent ordered a Ming watch, that company knows how to build a micro brand and Chinese companies should learn from it. The problem in china is that it's all about volume, companies don't normally go the boutique route. You see that inChina does have some decent brands like Tianjin-Seagull. While not as well known or respected as Rolex, Omega, or Grand Seiko, they are responsible for 1/4th of global mechanical movement production. Their own movement is based on the defunct Swiss Venus brand which they bought the rights to and improved upon and are now are able to make their own column-wheel chronograph and tourbillon movements too. Besides the Airforce 1963 looks pretty slick in a Vintage way.
BEIJING, July 25 (Xinhua) -- The Chinese Academy of Sciences announced that an atomic clock has lost the equivalent of only one second in 30 million years during its two years in orbit on Tiangong-2, China's space lab.
Unlike the most atomic clocks, this clock uses cold atom technology to ensure its ultra precision. Hot-atom clocks have almost reached their limits in regard to long-term stability.
We got a rich man in da houseMy favorite watches in my collection are the A Lange and Sohne Lange 1 daymatic for dress watch and oris big crown pointer for casual. In general for utility watches Sinn is great. Rolex is for people that don't know mechanical watches and want to show off. Grand Seiko is for people that have too much money and buying a glorified Seiko 5 ( like buying a Acura when it's just a Honda).
