This is the reason i have stated rhetorically: what is the end result of a "all of civilisation response" as Kiron Skinner put it?
Answer: genocide.

Unfortunately it appears the american ppl are going to have to suffer as the german people did, in order to bring these Americans elites to justice.
That's what's needed in the U.S. they need to be humbled like Germany did post WWII. The American society writ-large have deluded themselves into thinking that their way of doing things and them at the top of the pecking order are all pre-ordained by some kind of divine providence. Only a loss on a gigantic level where it can be forced to look introspectively wholesale because that country will never ever change it's ways without experiencing defeat.
There is no "unfortunate" when Americans eventually receive their humbling, they deserve it!

The only unfortunate part is the good people I've met and made good working relationships with that aren't brainwashed pieces of shit. Unfortunately, however, they seem to a be a very small minority.

I rather die young than yo have anything to do with that guy. Any case, don't you want to stay young? I would. If some one said to me you can have a million £ of 20 years younger, I'll take the 20 years.

Enjoy it while you're still young and still can!
What are you talking about? You, ansy and I are all 21 years old.

Ah, the eternally different young-old perspectives on life

Ask a young person this question and he will most likely say that he would take the million dollars without a second thought

Now ask an old person and he would be like "NOPE! Take my money and make me younger"

Honestly, even without saying if you are old or young, just the answer on this question shows the actual age of a person

Anyway, back to topic now

China state media in shambles. I think these kinds of statistics have finally woken up Xi about China's idiotic and incompetent media

(Japanese media)

88% of Japanese and 72% of South Korean respondents said the increasing military pressure China is putting on its neighbors is a threat to their countries.
On the U.S. policy of increasing pressure on China over diplomatic, security and human rights issues, 59% of Japanese and 64% of South Koreans said their country should side with the United States.
...

Meanwhile, 68% of respondents in both countries said Japan-South Korea relations should be improved to counter China and North Korea.
Lmao. China's big soft power "win" here...

The rest of the survey presents some less bad results but lMO China is definetely not doing well.

Ex-Mossad director dismisses China threat, criticizing hardline U.S policy

US MIC is using China for their excuses to waste more tax payers money to confront on a rising "enemy".

China is no doubt the biggest and most powerful challenger and competitor that the US has ever faced. But the US ruling elites do not know how to deal with China. They don't even have an end goal with China, other than that they just want to maintain the US primacy and hegemony. Their natural instinct is to resort to Cold War strategy and tactics and rhetoric since those worked last time, without fully understanding that the world is different now, the US is not what it used to be, and China is unlike Soviet Union during the Cold War - or Japan in the '80s, or Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan in WWII for that matter.

Right now, the US's China policy is in disarray. After the failure of Trump's China sttrategy, Biden dares not change direction or push even harder in Trump's direction. Instead, they resort to rhetoric (democracy vs autocracy, rule-based international order, blah blah) and bluffing (lab-leak theory, implicit nuclear threat on Taiwan, etc.). Without a coherent China policy, the US will just let their fear of and obsession with China run the course, resulting a lot of damages and self-hurt along the way.

People in Washing and Beltway live in a bubble; they think alike and speak in similar language. On the other hand, people outside can clearly see that they don't have a strategy, like this Ex-Mossad director, who is from a closely allied country and even calls Pompeo as close friend.

Their rhetoric is indeed in shambles. But their policies have started taking some shape and I expect them to be solidified further in the G7 meeting.

IMO, they will start creating their own "exclusive" economic sphere where Chinese companies will increasingly face restrictions

EU + US will join hands on most of the things.

So for the G7 meeting, the thing to watch is "International" Procurement system, Blue Dot Initiative, and funding for Green development in developing countries

Lets see how it all goes or if it will be the usual talk and nothing else
