What is there to "solve" and how is it going to be magically fixed when there are outside malevolent influence trying to upend the province by fomenting not only dissent but separatism through extremism and rigid interpretation of Islam. Please do tell.
It's already been solved. Any outcry currently is bs from a bunch of imperialists who cries crocodile tears to piss off China.
IMO ideally in 5 years China could start a pilot on easing up some of its Xinjiang policies. However due to the US looking to destroy China we might need to wait another 10 years for that to happen
We live in a weird world
China: re-educate, provide job and housing
Israel: throw them all into a confine area with no job, housing, water, power but plenty of bullets/bombs etc... good luck! (free to be miserable)
US: Enjoy our bombs! (free to be miserable)
India: Marginalize and treat them in lower tier of human life and society (free to be miserable)
Both sides aren't interested in compromising. It's their way or the highway.
The thing is that there are no both sides to it. That would suggest some form of parity. One side is a nuclear power with the best military in the the region. The Other side consists of helpless folks who see their homes, land stolen from them on a daily basis. A "state" that doesn't even have a standing army of its own . All they manage to do is build $100 rockets that Israel intercepts for fun.
All that hullabaloo about Hamas firing rockets. Israel killed more Palestinians this week than those rockets have killed in the past 2 decades. There simply isn't any comparison.
Also compromise what? Palestinians have already lost 80% of their land to Israel. There nothing left to compromise anymore. For Palestinians its a fight for existence, for Israelis its nothing but satisfying their blood lust.
Not anytime soon, especially when the competion just seems to have even become more pronounced, not to mention American actions are becoming bolder and visible. It's not even hiding it's intentions anymore; it's practically daring China to act irrationally and hastily so that it can start some kind of armed conflict which would then be used to galvanized it's vassalized world into a more unified punitive sanctions or expeditions.

Do these people look like they're willing to compromise? Imagine if the BBC or any of the western propagandists conducted the same kind of interview in China, asking the people what they think of their own fellow Chinese (Uyghurs) responding the same manner as the Jews in the video? That would have been turned into prima facie evidence of China truly genociding the hapless Uyghurs.
