What I don't understand is the sheer hypocrisy of the U.S. not allowing Chinese entities to assist and help their country's military when in reality the U.S. M.I.C. is being help and assisted from their own companies or important sectors like no other. F..ck America
China should now impose reciprocal sanctions on US entities which are supporting the US military.

"In this way, the author sees Japan during the Meiji Restoration as spiritually "leaving Asia," since its two neighbors, China and Korea, do not appear to be embracing such reformation. Unless there are pioneers to reform these countries, they would be conquered and divided by external forces, as shown by the unequal treaties and threat of force pushed on Asian countries by the United States and other Western powers."
The Japanese should now embrace Chinese culture again, as their US masters are going bankrupt.

Let's put all non-commercial (individual consumers) orders from Nvidia and IBM 50% tariff. After all, they supply processors to US supercomputers which are used for nuclear weapons simulations.

JFC, it is 2021 and this was still allowed?..

You see? Thats why I say China needs another 10 yrs at least to get international respect.

Who is gonna respect China when it allowed for so long an obviously criminal and disgusting behaviour to happen? Who knows what other things are allowed that the rest of the civilised world has criminalized?

Good first step, however more needs to be done, especially on enforcing the sexual harassment laws

You got it backwards. Laws only spell out what is NOT allowed, it doesn't tell you what is ethical.

China didn't need a law to make student-teacher relations illegal so far, precisely because this hasn't been an issue.

The West needs so many laws spelling out exactly what isn't allowed because these kinds of abuses are so common.

The 'fighting to the very last' kind of statement from Taiwan authority does indicate that they are nervous nowadays as China ramp up the pressure. They must be hoping for more solid support from US / Japan as China is ramping up pressure. But US / Japan have already played most of their cards but China remains undeterred and has the upper hands it seems.

That's interesting, I wouldn't have expected someone who has gone through military indoctrination to feel the way you do.

Do you feel this way because you identify as Chinese or because you disagree with those wars?
Sorry for the late response, Im always busy and I always take my time to type out any responses.

I was young, 9/11 happened and growing up to believe that the USA is the #1 and all that trash of course I wanted to serve. I actually volunteered to deploy as much as possible because I though I was part of a just cause and I absolutely hated garrison life. When we train up for a deployment or actually out there doing our jobs our lives were actually much better. Peacetime military is an absolute joke.

It wasn't until after I got out and I actually did research and self reflection that I came to my epiphany. You should read Maj Gen Smedley Butler's "War Is a Racket". In boot camp he is glorified for his 2 Medals of Honor but they don't teach about his socialist anti-imperialist views after his service and War Is A Racket is unsurprisingly not on the USMC Commandant's Reading List. So there are veterans, even decorated high ranking ones who eventually wake up and stand against the imperial war machine they once fought for.

I am Chinese and proud to be Chinese. Anti-Chinese bigotry just fuels my pride and seething hatred for China haters more and more.

Lmao BBC got scared that it would lose its audience inside China so they are now trying to give "China-friendly" news. To understand their panic, they even showed a promotional video for Wuhan made by People's Daily hahaha

This was actually a fair and sort of balanced news reporting about Wuhan, about covid-19, and China's very impressive handling of the pandemic. BBC is indeed very thrifty for some of the Chinese eyeballs

@Norinco_81 bro, may I ask what kind of martial arts did you train.
Sorry for late reply

I was taught MCMAP as a Marine. It is widely considered a joke by Marines including myself but mainly because of the way its implemented. However, there are good things about it that I still practice, and I've been taught some moves from other disciplines by friends as well.
