I don't like this. In fact I don't like this at all. China has become too lacks too soon and its just a matter of time before we will see a second wave. Its no different what I have seen in Europe a month ago. When people thought this was just a problem abroad and nothing to worry about at home.

And then there is this. The biggest threat to China now is from imported cases. And yet the quarantine of foreigners travelling to China is haphazard and uncoordinated.

You have a point here. See the article below on imported cases may trigger a second outbreak.

Iraq condemned overnight U.S. air strikes on Friday, saying they killed six people, and warned of dangerous consequences for what it called a violation of sovereignty and targeted aggression against the nation's regular armed forces.

Iraq's Joint Operations Command said in a statement that three soldiers, two policemen and one civilian were killed, according to an initial toll, and that four soldiers, two policemen, a civilian, and five militiamen were injured.

But the Iraqi military said the new U.S. air attack went against "any partnership" under the coalition. "It will have consequences that subject everyone to the most serious dangers."

"My understanding is [Trump] did not push to do aggressive additional testing in recent weeks, and that's partly because more testing might have led to more cases being discovered of coronavirus outbreak, and the president had made clear — the lower the numbers on coronavirus, the better for the president, the better for his potential re-election this fall." - Health and Human Services Secretary

This is always a changing situation, China keep updateing its proactive response while balancing between tight control and letting go.
After what they have done and achieved, you should give the Chinese authorities a little more credit, classifying them as no different to European government management of this pandemic is an insult.

the main point seems to be, I quote

now, “only production activities deemed vital for national production will be allowed”
(he says that during the second minute from the end)

so I wonder what would that mean

Complete shutdown of any activity not related to food, medicine, and power necessary for sustaining human life. Similar to what happened at China during late January.

Great that China can come forward to help other nations. China has already rendered support to nearly 100 countries to combat COVID-19. Every country in the world can see that USA has done nothing to help countries and in the last two months or more to bash China whilst China was struggling to curb the spread of COVID-19. Their leaders were so preoccupied with such bashing that they failed to prepare USA for COVID-19. Hence, they are in serious trouble with inadequate testing and containment capabilities. They ignored advices of WHO and their own scientists. Now Trump and Pompeo are trying to put the blame on China for their fiascos. China can only assists those countries who provided support to them in the battle against COVID-19. USA will certainly have to fend for themselves as after all Trump claimed that USA is well prepared and USA has got the best public healthcare system.
