in the meantime the US working on its 'oh no' moment to come:I don't like this. In fact I don't like this at all. China has become too lacks too soon and its just a matter of time before we will see a second wave. Its no different what I have seen in Europe a month ago. When people thought this was just a problem abroad and nothing to worry about at home.
not sure how a Governor of, say, California, can stop someone from, say, Arizona, who is sick with the coronavirus, to drive to California and spread the virus thereNo, Hendrick, democracy does work in the US in suppressing Covid-19.
All the state governors, both Republican and Democratic, rejected Trump's failed approach and implemented on their own swift, direct and completely disruptive actions in their respective states. These actions are similar to what were and are being done in other countries that have proven successful. If the US comes out of this with less human and economic losses, it is because of the actions by these governors and not because of Trump. These governors will not have any legal repercussion from Trump because they answer only to the people of their respective states and not the president.
I am going to stop here because this thread does not allow discussion. I will expand on this reply when the Coronavirus thread reopens.

And then there is this. The biggest threat to China now is from imported cases. And yet the quarantine of foreigners travelling to China is haphazard and uncoordinated.
