They are expecting about $12b from this LNG deals. If Japan and Korea cannot properly enforce sanctions now. at some point Arabs will demand priority in all manufacturing products of Korea and Japan. and considering there trade deficits and demographics collapse Japan and Korea will unable to provide anything to Europa. this even if they are allowed to pass Suez and Arabian airspace. why would some one buy a Korean tank in Europa when long term assurance of parts will become questionable. just look what is happening in Africa with French.

Japanese officials frame the continued use of Sakhalin as an energy security imperative, and warn that withdrawing could see China enter the projects.

I didn't quite get this example, could you please elaborate?

Say we have Adani Cow Urine India that made $10M in FY21 and $5M in FY22. To not report a drop of $5M, Adani starts a shell company Adani Cow Urine Singapore sometime in FY22, but how does that help him? If Adani Cow Urine India doesn't report revenue for FY22 but Adani Cow Urine Singapore does, doesn't everyone figure out that Adani Cow Urine Global has lower revenues overall?

That’s why they use shell companies and not subsidiaries. Shell companies are technically separate legal entities so their profits and losses are entirely separate from the main Adani group.

In this example, the shell company knowingly overpays Adani HQ for the bad asset so Adani HQ records a profitable sale while the Shell company records the purchased business line as an asset at massively inflated book value. Then the shell company can take the loss later and Adani HQ is completely insulated from that loss.

Thats just a bare bones illustration, in reality it’s likely far more complicated, with loss groups also involved to use the losses to wipe out corporation tax on the groups profitable parts.

Adani isn't going down. Modi is his puppet and Modi has gifted him monopolies in dozens of India's strategic sectors. That's all free money which will of course need time to actually translate to cash flow, that's why Adani is building so much debt because he is expanding as much as possible without caring about revenues and profits (he will squeeze these later..)

Until that cash cow starts bringing revenues + profits to him, the Indian government will keep giving him money by all means necessary. The guys who did the investigation might be out of luck this time as they are not fighting just against Adani but against the whole Indian government and Modi's political party (and his future). They will definitely make some money by short selling but not as much as they hoped

Scholtz really is getting taken hostage by DC through CIA stooges populating the coalition's Green Party.

Outstanding, the FM makes such statement before the Chancellor and President, that says who is running the show.

As far as I know, in German institution declaring war is the power of the President at the (direction/recommendation) consultation of the Chancellor, FM is merely a clerk. Even if we count her wording "war" as less formal but figurative, it is politically inappropriate for her rank. Usually this would lead to her to retract her words or resignation, but that won't happen as it is clear that Scholz has been hijacked.

This gives me the feeling of Wiemar era when the institution did not run according to the design, that is the President/Reichswehr and Chancellor were working against one another. See the TV show "Babylon Berlin".

Imagine thinking that a country which is occupied by thousands of US troops is really independent lol. Same with Japan, same with S.Korea

All this "send or not send tanks" talk, Germany had a meeting with the US, and would you imagine? Germany was slapped so hard, the very next day/hours it decided to send tanks to Ukraine lmao

For future reference, and to avoid any needless questions, anger, or any other strong emotions arising from a surprise decision by those countries. Germany, S.Korea and Japan are all US occupied/vassal states with different degree of autonomy given to them by the US. Their autonomy is a privilege that can be withdrawn by their Lord at any time if they go against their marching orders

Somehow, I don't get the feeling that this woman is going to enjoy the fruits of her labor for very long. Since the west losing in Ukraine is a forgone conclusion (given how Russia has made it clear that they will use whatever option there is available in defending there homeland, plus they will do a general mobilization should these tanks make it to Ukraine), she is bound to be used a fall guy sooner or later and I don't think the germans are going to remember her all that fondly once all things said and done

Everyone here understands that, it's still disgusting to see it in practice.
