There’s a certain sense of cold hearted schadenfreude I feel re the buryats as I do towards the mongols and other former denizens of previous Chinese empires; these guys chose to become a part of the Russian empire, well suck it up and enjoy being cannon fodder as the non white draftees for mother Russia today. Your cousins in Inner Mongolia are getting fat and rich off Chinese growth.
The Buryats didn't choose to be part of the Russian Empire; it was the Russian Empire that conquered them. The same rings true for the rest of Siberia and Central Asia, which the Qing Empire never had dominion over.

As for Mongolia and Tanu Tuva, the Soviets defeated the Beiyang army in the 1920s, which resulted in China losing those territories. Had China not been embroiled in constant turmoil throughout the 1910s, Mongolia and Tanu Tuva would still be part of China. Sinophobia in Mongolia today is the result of leftover Soviet propaganda after the Sino-Soviet split, which America has no doubt taken advantage of to incite even more Sinophobia.

All these migraines emanated from China's weakness throughout the previous century. Be thankful the CPC was able to wrestle Tibet, Xinjiang, Inner Mongolia, Dongbei, Hong Kong, and Macau back.

Who asked the US to make its dollar the global reserve? The irony is that before Bretton Woods, the great economist John Maynard Keynes proposed creating an international currency that was not dependent on any single country. He called it the Bancor -- and it was US opposition that killed the good idea. If maintaining the reserve currency is now costly, then the US voluntarily assumed the burden.

In fact, the US did -- and is still doing -- everything it could to destroy alternatives. In fact, making the US dollar the reserve was hugely beneficial to America for some decades. Now that they are thoroughly trapped in Triffin's Dilemma, some Americans are having second thoughts.

There is even greater irony in the hierarchy part. In 1945, when the memories of World War II's horrors were still fresh, the US led the world in creating the United Nations. Its collective security, the brilliant idea behind the organization, would have done much to flatten the hierarchies, making it unnecessary for any single country to be aggressive. A functioning UN would have greatly stabilized the world. However, now that memories of WW2 are fading, the US wants to be the top boss of a global hierarchy, forgetting that it was precisely these Mafia-like hierarchies that caused the two world wars. So the UN's creator wants to destroy the UN. Such an irony.

The 77 years of (mostly) peace since the United Nations Charter was signed in San Francisco suggests that the UN has been rather effective in its primary task, the prevention of another world war. The US's efforts to destroy -- or at least ignore -- the organization gives us even more evidence that the UN has been strongly hampering the Americans' imperial ambitions. So I believe I am justified in hoping that a new version of the UN will work, and that it will be good for the survival of mankind.
All i am saying that US financial system has benefited alot of countries post world war to rebuild and absorb quickly largest immigration in history. just dont assume there are not strong supporters of this system.
do you think Saudis care if South Korean employees in Seoul cannot afford launch in the market?. there dollar peg currencies allow them to buy things and people cheaper.

Russia is the only country to not give back all the territories it annexed from China during its century of humiliation. This problem will be fixed very soon.

Haha, trilingual in classical language? You know that’s cheating! Most classical Korean is in 한자-漢字 (but more properly in Chinese-漢文문). Similar with Japanese, lol.

Your description is a little scary, could be me (I swear I don’t have a liberal arts degree!)
Knowing Chinese really is like cheating in language lmao. I read/write/speak Chinese and way back in college learned some Japanese kana and 新字体 simplification that I mostly forgot.

my mother in law was amazed at me being "trilingual" for knowing what to do with a Japanese rice cooker.

Fingers crossed for UK. Boris at least is a sane Prime Minister.

I’m pretty sure the Tories are expecting to loose the next general election so are in full asset-strip and sabotage mode to enrich themselves and their core base as much as possible right now, and to also make such a colossal mess that there is no way Labour could turn things around in 4 years. That way, come the next election cycle, they will just do what they always do by lying their face off and blaming the problems they caused on their opposition to get elected again. It works because the British public are stupid enough to let it work.

Ah finally. The proof I was waiting for… but my god. This is hilarious.

Source of these documents was from Rep. Mike Waltz (R-Florida) who gave it to Fox News.

And some highlights.

AKA. How being woke will save you from an PLA air to air missiles.
Of course missiles are color blind, but I think D&I is more meant to prevent themselves shooting one another's back or abandon one another due to racial and gender hatred. D&I is to build "buddihood" in place of the now forbidden brotherhood and sisterhood. :D
