I'm usually up for robbers getting their comeuppance...but that looks like straight up murder to me.
Based Viet Cong veteran

It's funny reading the comments on that article. It's full of white racists blaming it on blacks. They're saying the robbers are black. Then when pointing out the obvious, they spin it blaming it on black culture. They're making excuses like the woke crowd they hate.

Most blackest black in tha hood

Yeah, unfortunately probably not going to end well for the clerk. That rat thief didn't go for him so he can't claim self defense, and the amount of times he stabbed the little bastard might have been excessive.

I am not a lawyer, but I wouldn’t bet on the clerk getting in trouble. Most states (including Nevada) have those Castle doctrine/“stand your ground” type laws. Considering the guy tried to jump the counter, any half decent lawyer should be able to convince a jury that the guy just reacted in the heat of the moment.

I have to say it’s chilling to hear the thief scream “Argh, I’m Dead!”

The moment the guy jumped over the counter is when it became self defense... however the guy giving chase after the suspect whilsts he is stabbing him is where it might have gotten excessive...

If you shoot someone in valid self defense, but then walk over him while he is already on the ground and put a finishing shot into his head, you will still get charged for murder.

OMG officer, I saw him reach towards his pocket when he was down on the ground and was sure I saw a gun! Honest mistake! Promise!

It is FT source report. Turkey will face sanctions if it further expands trade with Russia.

A senior Western official suggested countries could call on their companies and banks to pull out of Turkey if President Erdoğan sticks to the pledges he made on Friday — a highly unusual threat against a fellow NATO member that has spent the $800 billion could cripple the country’s economy if foreign companies agree.

The official said countries that have imposed sanctions on Russia can take action against Ankara by “calling on Western companies to either terminate relations in Turkey or reduce their relations with Turkey, in light of the risk that would arise. as Turkey’s relationship with Russia”.
