anyone know more about what's going on?
it seems that ARM parent company is trying to fire ARM China's CEO but the ARM China (51% shares China funds owned) dismissed the replacement and said they're not going to let go of their current CEO... lol first time I've heard of this kind of thing happening.

ARM parent has 49% shares and it has the support of HOPU which is one of the Chinese venture companies making up the 51% so in theory the two of them should have majority in any vote but if somebody talks to HOPU I'm sure they would change their mind... anyway weird story not sure what to make of it

President Trump has imposed economic sanctions against court officials "directly engaged with any effort to investigate or prosecute United States personnel without the consent of the United States."

The executive order released Thursday also expands visa restrictions against court officials and their families.

In response to the sanctions order, the ICC said it "stands firmly by its staff and officials."

ICC prosecutor Fatou Bensouda, who pushed for the probe, has said the investigation will focus on alleged crimes by not only the Taliban and other armed groups, but also Afghan forces, U.S. forces and the CIA.

Judging by the level of systemic racism found in US law enforcement, US should be very worried about the war crimes committed by U.S. troops in Afghanistan and Iraq.

This sanction against the ICC is just a blatant attempt to obstruct Justice.
