Blitz news from Russian Sputnik's Telegram channel. In "democratic" Europe we have no access to the Russian channels RT and Sputnik, RT is banned even on Telegram.

Dmitry Medvedev commented on the words of the German Foreign Minister, who accused Russia of "using hunger as a weapon."

"It is surprising, of course, to hear this from officials whose country kept Leningrad under siege for 900 days, where almost 700,000 people died of starvation," Medvedev said.

UK prime minister Boris Johnson has said that he would resign if he had to abandon Ukraine because it became too difficult or expensive.

The conflict in Ukraine will become an endurance contest between Russia and Europe, Biden believes.

"At a certain stage, there will be a kind of waiting game — what the Russians can withstand and what Europe will be ready to withstand," the US president said.

He kept silent about the States with record inflation against the background of anti-Russian sanctions.

"President Biden's observations on Putin's price hike."

This is the official name of the US President's new speech on prices at American gas stations.

How did Biden propose to fight the rising cost of fuel?

▪️Urged oil companies to lower gasoline prices.

He blamed Russia and the Republicans for all the troubles.

▪️ Stated that he was doing "everything possible to stop the price increase."

It's a pity that Americans no longer believe in grandfather's fairy tales.

The oldest Turkish newspaper Cumhuriyet writes that the country has not received any benefits from membership in the Alliance. The way out of it promises Ankara a lot of advantages.

The loss of Turkey will mean for NATO the loss of influence in the Caucasus and Central Asia. For Ankara, this will be a transition to a strategic partnership with Russia and Iran, as well as integration into the SCO and BRICS.

Germany wants to nationalize Nord Stream 2.

To overcome the gas shortage, Germany needs new pipelines through which it will be possible to supply processed LNG, writes Der Spiegel.

Since all German capacities are occupied, the Ministry of Economy wants to "nationalize" the German part of Nord Stream-2.

They want to cut it off (!) from the rest of the gas pipeline and connect the pipes leading from the land to the sea with the mobile LNG terminal.

The Germans believe that thanks to the infrastructure of the Russian gas pipeline, it will be possible to save the regions of Southern Germany from gas shortages.

At the same time, Berlin understands that Moscow may then nationalize German companies in Russia.

The British Prime Minister urged the West to prepare for a protracted conflict in Ukraine, which could last several years.

not to force Kiev to peace and negotiations.

European pacifism knows no borders.

News of European militarism.

The new head of the British Ground Forces, Patrick Sanders, called for the formation of an army capable of "fighting in Europe again," as well as "fighting and defeating Russia in battle."

Now about the British Army:

Patrick Sanders, as chief of the General Staff, will lead the country's smallest army in 300 years after the government reduces its number to 73 thousand people, The Sun reports.

The other day, he canceled the deployment of the battalion in Bosnia and Kosovo after the publication of a video with an orgy of paratroopers at a military base, The Guardian reports.

Germany is in a gas crisis, said the head of the German Ministry of Economy.

According to him, gas consumption needs to be reduced wherever possible.

By the way, Germany has two "Nord Streams" at its disposal. To bring the country to a gas crisis in such conditions is probably a talent.

The United States is using Ukraine as a weapon against Russia, American director Oliver Stone said in an interview with La Repubblica newspaper.

He also expressed confidence that the war was provoked. At the same time, the director believes that in the end everything will turn against the United States.

"Our energy and food supply largely depend on Russia. Everything will turn against us, and we are already seeing this with inflation. Ukraine is used by the United States as a weapon against Russia. They say that the war was not provoked, but I think it was," Oliver Stone said.

A senior adviser to the Hungarian Prime Minister called on the EU to stop imposing sanctions against Russia and enter into negotiations with Moscow.

The European Union may "be on the losing side" because of economic difficulties, Balazs Orban explained to Reuters (the agency clarifies that he is not a relative of Prime Minister Viktor Orban).

"We would recommend stopping the sanctions process, as the continuation will result in even greater damage to Europe itself," the adviser said.

"So we need to think about something. Negotiations, ceasefire, peace. Diplomacy. This is our decision."

Portuguese Prime Minister: Ukraine's accession to the EU may lead to the collapse of the union.

This was stated by Antonio Costa in an interview with European publications.

Europe needs reforms, without them the integration of Ukraine will reveal the shortcomings of the union, he is sure.

that "granting the status of a candidate may turn into a bitter disappointment for Kiev."

The Portuguese Prime Minister is trying with all his might to alienate Ukraine from the EU.

Granting Ukraine the status of an EU candidate is symbolic.

This was stated by the Prime Minister of Belgium Alexander De Cros.

Joining the EU will require huge reforms and time, he added.

The European Commission last Friday recommended granting Moldova and Ukraine the status of candidates.

As can be seen from the words of the Prime Minister of Belgium, Kiev should not be deceived. For example, Turkey has been

for a quarter of a century.

The Prime Minister of Albania advised Ukraine not to have illusions about the possible status of a candidate in the EU.

"North Macedonia has been a candidate for 17 years, if I am not mistaken, Albania for 9 years," said Edi Rama.

He expressed hope that the people of Ukraine "will not have big illusions about this."

According to NATO's plans, Estonia will be "wiped off the face of the earth."

Estonian Prime Minister Kaya Kallas criticized the defense strategy of the North Atlantic Alliance.

In the event of an attack on the Baltic States, NATO allies promise to "liberate Estonia in 180 days", instead of defending it from the first day, she said.

"This would mean the complete destruction of our country," Kallas stressed.

According to the prime minister, NATO soldiers in Estonia do not like that "according to the plan they will simply die."

A new ice age.

A decrease in the temperature during heating of housing by two degrees in Europe will allow replacing gas supplies through the Nord Stream pipeline.

Tips for housewives from the President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen.

The Speaker of the European Parliament directly explains what the status of a candidate in the EU is worth.

The European Union should grant Ukraine the status of a candidate for membership as a "symbol of hope" to maintain the spirit of Ukrainians, while there are "many more steps to be taken for real accession," Roberta Metsola said.

Switzerland called Ukraine's accession to the EU an impossible task.

The author of the story for the SRF TV channel Charles Liebherr noted that the membership of this country in the union will greatly change the financial situation.

In particular, some countries fear for agricultural subsidies that they receive from the EU budget. In addition, the journalist recalled the high level of corruption in Kiev.

"Membership in the EU is currently unrealistic for Ukraine. But how can we prevent Ukraine from sitting in the EU courtyard, as the countries of the Western Balkans have been doing for 20 years?" — the plot says.

Slovenia "demilitarized" through Ukraine.

This was announced by the Minister of Defense of the country Marjan Sharets during a visit to Brussels.

The Republic has supplied Kiev with 35 BMP-1 units, as well as several thousand assault rifles and sets of equipment.

However, the Slovenes have already exhausted their arsenal and Kiev will not receive new batches of weapons yet.

Iran's economy is (nominal) about $200 billion. At PPP figures it is $1 trillion.

Saudi Arabia's (nominal) is $700 billion.
At PPP figures it is $1.74 trillion. Also don't forget that half the world depends on its oil.

As you can see, this isn't about economics but about Russia's attempts for a power play in the region. If it was truly about economics, either Iran + Saudi Arabia are invited or only Saudi Arabia.

This isn't me about being a SA fanboy but on China's diplomatic priorities and commitments to the region. As for SCO, I don't rate that highly Iran's inclusion in it. In my opinion Iran is merely the first step before getting (possibly in this decade) the real prize, Saudi Arabia + other Gulf States.

As for Mexico and Turkey, I am ok with them. Not everyone can be China friendly and the group would need to demonstrate acceptance of different countries in order to prove that it is a true global south multilateral grouping. If not, you might as well as call it Russia's + China's friends group and move on..

That's probably how Chinese officials will evaluate this new idea from Russia and then promptly move to shut it down. As it stands, imo this proposal isn't in China's interests.
All of Saudi’s money is in US $. It is stored in US banks. SA is not Chinas special friend or supreme priority in the ME because the US has ultimate leverage over SA at this time. The Riyal is currently locked to the USD.

China is helping SA become sovereign by equalizing it’s military power with Israel, this is what they are calling “balance” in the Global Security Initiative. This includes: Ballistic missiles and matching ISR and laser defenses, no doubt it will also soon include anti-stealth radar.

We also see SA making huge investments around the Arab world and in their own country, I think this is to spend their $’s before the US steals them, this is going to take some time and until SA become more sovereign then China can’t trust them not to sabotage whatever organization they join, at this time. Things are changing.

A clear demonstration of how the Western media have "changed their shoes" in the last few months.

Before, they were choking on the issue of corruption and Nazism in Ukraine, accusing Zelensky of excessive authoritarianism, and now they are glorifying Ukrainian democracy and calling Zelensky a hero.

This is true freedom of speech!

This is particularly amusing since the founder of Telegram, Pavel Durov, left Russia to found Telegram in Dubai.

He claimed he wanted a free speech platform without censorship. Because in the 2011 Russia elections, the Russian government (the FSB) asked him to remove the pages of groups organizing mass protests against the government claiming the elections were fraudulent from VKontakte, i.e. basically a Maidan style color revolution attempt in Russia. He refused to remove those pages. Later the Russian government basically got someone to buy the majority of the shares in VK. He said he wasn't in control of the company he founded anymore and he got out of Russia after selling his shares to the new owner. As a billionaire. He also regularly shows up at the World Economic Forum as a speaker.

But now that the EU tells him to block the channels of the RT and Sputnik he has no problems doing it. Typical.

He also recently added "Telegram premium" feature where the STT (speech to text) sends data to Google for processing, LOL. So much for the "privacy" marketing bs he pushed with Telegram. And don't forget about his TON crypto scam.
