Here is the catch though. Since he is 68 years old, assuming he is from mainland China, he wouldn’t be able to live in Taiwan in his youth since:
1. China kept their doors locked until 1979 ( he would have been 25 if he were lucky enough to immigrate out of China to the US).
2. The mainland and Taiwan didn’t allow people to travel between those two lands until 1987 (he would have been 34 by that time).
3. The age range for the youth is officially 15-24, but “youth” is commonly applied to teenagers and kids.

One can say that he may have been one of the Chinese who illegally ran to Hong Kong in the 60’s, but those people most likely (like 99.99%) would support Taiwan. Plus, Hong Kong was part of the UK as a colony. So, officially, he wouldn’t have “emigrated” from China to the US.

The only way to resolve this issue is that he moved from Taiwan to the mainland in his post youth years and then to the US, but that doesn’t suit their agenda.

Man, there you go again with your "CONTEXT" and peppering your commentary with "FACTS" two important factors that are crucial to have in a "NEWS REPORTING." But in today's dumb dumb news reportage, American news and simping for the west rags like SCMP will simply parrot these nonsense because it'll endear their readership to the western sheeps so that they too can be used and accepted by the lying Goebbels club in America like the rest of the western publications in the west.

Plus, most western China experts wouldn't even be bothered to learn these facts because to most of these folks China is illegitimate because of it's political system period. There's no if or but around this issue. Unless of course your Vietnamese Commies because for some ducked up reasons, they're the good Commies. For now.

In my personal experience I have unlimited sick leave but regulated vacation. Sick leave is hard to get. For vacation we just log it online a few days in advance and it's OK, no questions asked.

Putin is now coping because he can't do anything about it lol. But It really depends on whether Finland and Sweden would become a threat later on, because the relationship of both of those countries to NATO has been comprehensive before that it blurs the line between official members and non-official members, so them joining is largely symbolic.

Well, the Russians in Germany are apparently "divided" over the war in Ukraine according to this report from Germany's DW. All I can see from this video is a generational divide where the young ethnic Russian-Germans are the woke generation compared to what their parents and grandparents have lived, fought, and even romanticized to remember.

This scenario is the kind of fate awaiting the Chinese diaspora all over the western world: division and otherings. First evidenced from what happened and transpired during the seditious actions in Hong Kong back on 2019.
