Over 90,000 civil servants in UK may get the axe

Prime Minister Johnson reportedly wants to free up cash for tax cuts

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson on Thursday ordered cabinet ministers to significantly reduce departmental staffing levels in a push to lower government spending. According to media reports, the PM has set out plans to terminate up to 90,000 civil servants, which is equivalent to a fifth of Whitehall.

Johnson told the Daily Mail that reducing the headcount would generate savings that could be deployed to help the general public. “We have got to cut the cost of government to reduce the cost of living,” he said. “Every pound the government pre-empts from the taxpayer is money they can spend on their own priorities, on their own lives.”

Firing 90,000 to free up $4.92 billion dollars for tax cuts. #StarveForUkraine.

The middle class is systemically getting demolished and obliterated from orbit.

But look at the British Foreign Ministers and the unelected buffoon that is Josefina Borell grinning and exclaiming another billions more for Ukraine war machine. But am sure those folks that will soon lose their jobs in Britain are more than happy to make that sacrifice in the name of Ukraine. Virtue signaling politics has truly demented the brain cells of these Europeans.

US may have to suspend weapons shipments to Ukraine

Aid to Kiev may be disrupted if Congress doesn’t pass $40 billion spending package by May 19, Pentagon says

Senator Rand Paul (R-Kentucky) objected to unanimous consent – a provision that allows for bills with strong bipartisan support to go to a quick vote without debate – after Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-New York) refused to add language to the aid legislation requiring that an inspector general be appointed to oversee how the money is spent.

Schumer excoriated Paul for standing in the way of quickly approving the massive aid package and argued that Washington has a “moral obligation” to help Ukraine fight Russian forces. Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Kentucky) also pressed for an immediate vote on the bill, but Paul’s objection meant that passage would be delayed to next week at the earliest.

Paul argued that Americans are already “feeling the pain” of an inflation crisis, which he said was driven by excessive deficit spending, “and Congress seems intent on only adding to that pain by shoving more money out the door as fast as they can.” He added, “We cannot save Ukraine by dooming the US economy.”

The only sensible Senator out of all the clowns in the circus.

Wait...so after spending trillions of taxpayers money on two pointless wars where no one knows where the money went, there's only one senator who wants some sort of oversight on the spending?

America is the most corrupt country on the planet.

Don't say corrupt it might hurt their feelings.
For western countries there are other words like "special interests groups" and "corporate lobbyist".
