Eclectic analysis discussing the what if scenario with respect to the current Russia-U.S. problem is Ukraine. As usual the American analyst comes out the most bombastic, the most entertaining of the bunch, and the most militaristic which is not a surprise to many. What is surprising here is that 2 of the analysts (American and Eastern European) seemed to suggest that Putin’s actions in Ukraine is due in part out of fear that Ukraine's political system (I don't know if it's western democratic) will cause a major rift within Russia that apparently are clamoring for "Western democracy" invoking the convicted felon Mr.Navalney as their primary example.

This is the usual "nations that resist our expansion are afraid of democracy" propaganda narrative. Sadly, lots of useful idiots in the West fall for this lie. I am not sure if the propagandists genuinely belief this lie or not but it really does not matter to Russia, China or any other sovereign nation. They see it for what it is, US-led western imperialism masquerading as democracy. If Russia falls, China will be their next focused target for regime change. I believe both China and Russia know this. The Neocon/Neolib US desires full spectrum dominance across the globe and it is willing to do almost anything to achieve this goal.

Greens are interesting. You might be mistaken for thinking they were any way related to the left. After all, leftists also support development with lower pollution, including heavy use of hydroelectric, nuclear, etc.

But Greens hate hydro and nuclear even though they are the most effective renewable energy sources by far, supposedly because they're "bad for the environment". Ok, that's objectively wrong but whatever. What is their solution?

Reduce number of polluters AKA people and reduce the intensity of pollution by any means necessary.

Sounds like fascism to me. And it actually is. Right wing environmentalism from

to Adolf Hitler has always been closely associated with fascism and genocide.

German Greens = German Nazis.
Similar things are occurring in the US where the far-right (republicans/neocons) accuses the right (democrats/neolibs) to be "left" wing. Both parties are right wing / imperialist to the core. The "Democrats" just dress "friendlier".

You know that the Iranian oil and gas industry is under US sanctions, so it may be a result of that.

Plus I think it is legitimate to say that the Turkish economy is imploding due to domestic incompetence.
Inflation is probably running at 100% now.

Turkey is ready to host the leaders of Russia and Ukraine to "pave the way for re-establishing peace" as tensions between the two countries show little sign of diminishing, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said late Wednesday.
"We are ready to host presidents Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Vladimir Putin in Turkey for negotiations," Erdoğan said in a televised interview, reiterating that Ankara is ready to help any way it can to defuse tensions between Ukraine and Russia.
"Turkey wants tensions between Russia and Ukraine to be resolved before they turn into a new crisis," the president stated.
"I repeat that we are ready to do whatever is necessary and I conveyed these messages to President Putin and President Zelenskyy," Erdoğan said. "I think both countries are aware of the sincerity and good intent of Turkey,"
The crisis should be solved "avoiding the use of force," he added. "We hope the NATO initiative will be successful on this."

No problem. Then Germany can meet the economic equivalent of Hitler's fate.
Dr. Tobias Lindner is a member of the Green Party and a de-facto US agent/Quisling in Europe. With the exception of the nuclear weapon sharing program (i.e.:US nukes in Europe), Dr. Lindner usually supports the US-led Western narrative (lies). He totally ignores the US coup in Ukraine in 2014 and condemns Russia for countering US aggression in Ukraine.

"...Russian troop movements and the worrying situation in eastern Ukraine and Crimea will also be high on the agenda. The military escalation on the border and in Ukraine is extremely dangerous and unacceptable. The regularity with which Putin violates international law must not lead to violations and disruptions being put into perspective. Putin's saber-rattling needs a comprehensive response. It is good that NATO has made it clear that the answer to this cannot be Ukraine's NATO membership. The levers for containing Russia lie with the EU. Europe must make it clear to Russia that further military escalation in Ukraine and the Black Sea will have both a military and a political price..." - Dr. Tobias Lindner
