Ultimately the West's problem with zero-COVID isn't that it restricts freedom/liberties (because West emulated half-assed lockdowns in beginning which China pioneered). It ultimately comes down to worship $$$ and economy. The fact that China proved that saving lives can save your economy and consumer confidence... well, that must be an BRAIN EXPLOSION for China-haters and zero-COVID haters.

Honestly, if Western media saw slower Chinese growth than Western growth, they would immediately weaponize it against China and tout the inferiority of authoritarian overreach. Now they are all SILENT and cherry-picking sob stories in Xi'an. Now China has superior GDP growth, I really want to rub it in their faces. :)

I hope western cretins who loves to preach about western values superiority will go to Afghanistan and raise awareness as to what's happening to the people there being hungry. The vloggers should crowd fund just as this Chinese citizen is doing.

Where are those shallow nonsensical b.s. that seem to always retort with I love Afghan people not their government.

This merger would have allowed it to pool resources and to better fight Chinese competitors

The biggest competitor to South Korea shipbuilding industry is Chinese one; the biggest customers for South Korea LNG ships, a sector that SK currently dominates, are European, who take 50% of the market for such ships. This merger has significant implication for LNG ships.

As an aside, this is why we see so much failure in these so-called “China Policies”. They are not rooted in facts. A lot of the policies are made by old white guys who can’t read reports in Chinese, so they ultimately rely on the reports and news written by the old white men that came before them. This is why it seems like the US policy is formulated towards 1980’s China. Although I despise Pottinger, and I don’t think he made coherent policy, but at least he learned Chinese.

The trolling still have some point.

There are two kinds of people who read these "lair"'s post. One is the kind pretending to sleep. The other is people who lack knowledge but have the honesty and willingness to listen to the truth. There is no point to convince the first group, but still worth the try to convince the second group. By "trolling" the poster, we can tell the second group that the poster is lying therefor spreading the truth.

It’s far worse than mere greed.

The primary reason the UK and US went full-retard and immediately went to herd immunity after Italy went into lockdown was because they saw the dead from Italy were overwhelmingly elderly and saw covid as the perfect solution to their pensions black holes.

It’s only after the young started dying like flies that they reversed course.
