Japan on brink of granting Australian troops immunity from death penalty

"Decision would remove sticking point in talks for a defence cooperation deal, but be controversial given resentment over a similar agreement for US troopsTokyo’s Status of Forces Agreement with the American military is a source of tension as many see it as giving too much leeway to troops accused of serious crimes including rape."

What in the world is wrong with Japan? Have they become so meek and weak when it comes to the Anglo-Saxon countries that even Australia can coerce them to submission. Have they lost all their self-respect and manhood?

Please mind your language. How is it possible for the servant Japan to prosecute its masters, the whites, for anything at all?

What do you think? That Japan is an independent country? Hmph!! Japan is a colony, an outpost at most and as such it is only right for them to serve its masters

Just cancel already that farcical virtual meeting with Biden. Didn't he said some days ago that he supports the "One-China" policy?

The US State Department said in a statement released on Sunday that “high-level representatives” of the US State Department and Taiwan’s foreign ministry had discussed “expanding Taiwan’s participation at the United Nations and in other international fora”.
“The discussion focused on supporting Taiwan’s ability to participate meaningfully at the UN and contribute its valuable expertise to address global challenges, including global public health, the environment and climate change, development assistance, technical standards, and economic cooperation,” the statement said.

Exemplification of Extraterritorial Jurisdiction, being the "good boy" of the west, a vassal state in essence, a semi-colony of the west. Something that Chinese fought with lives to get rid of since 1850. The irony is that Japan was one of the powers that enjoyed such Extraterritorial Jurisdiction together with the Australians and Americans in China back then, but now look at where Japan stands?!

Strong language by the editorial from Global Times on the US move to get Taiwan to participate in the UN

The current US government is the most incapable and degenerate in the country's history.
The US' national strength has greatly lost its relative advantage, so the cards of trade and human rights Washington plays to counter China have almost no effect at all.

Just read it all. An absolute masterpiece of a thorough expose on the sorry state of the US

It makes perfect sense for Japan. Do you want a strong China right next door or do you rather be subservient to the US and maintain your top dog status in Asia.

Do you want the emperor right next door or have the emperor far away.

China is already top dog in asia, and there is nothing japan and us can do about it
All japan did is giving away what little left of their sovereignity to the anglos, sooner or later the japanese public will have enough of this, especially the long suffering okinawans
