Under Investigation has put together a war table of experts to forecast how we participate and ultimately survive if a war comes to fruition between China and the United States.

A few thoughts after skimming through that video:

Western analysis of Taiwan is always on cost of intervening vs cost of not intervening. There's never any mention of the cost of intervening and then losing the fight. That cost would be far more devastating than not intervening.

Australia is the second line of defense. The first line is Japan, SK, Taiwan. The fact that the US is now fortifying Australia means it is conceding it's first line of defence is no longer sufficient.

War would be horrendous. China should continue working on peaceful means of pushing US military reach back until Taiwan is completely exposed.

The moment When "experts" switch from "lehman moment" to "Even in Evergrande's home province, the developer is insignificant to Guangdong's vast local economy — it is not too big to fail." You know the "koolapse" kool aid bottle is nearly running empty.

So folks, it's popcorn time.

Or popcorn moment, whatever you want to call it.

They want to mitigate market fears since the US stock market took a dip due to the Evergrand fiasco. Their analysis has no bearings on whether Evergrand will be allowed to default, how big the fallout will be, etc.

You lose any domain you don't contest, or ofcourse poorly contest. PR is just a fancy way to say speak your point of view and it is really everyone's right and duty to speak their point of view. Otherwise others will make up or pervert your point of view in their own minds according to their own thoughts.
Yep, poorly contests is the right expression...

What are the odds of US shedding American blood for Taiwan if US refuses to even sell it's best technologies (F-35 stealth fighters) ? The chances are NONE. These Western arm-chair pundits are living in an entirely different era where Chinese navy is like 1980's antiquated Cold War junk.

Which, I think is good. Let them enter Taiwan straits and get defeated and Taiwan conquered. US defense credibility would absolutely be shattered. More power to China.

PR war? LOL you guys must be joking.

The world's biggest media outlets are owned by the West. Murdoch, Reuters, Twitter, FB, Youtube.

They literally control what 82% of the world's population sees, hears, and reads.

You guys really think China can win a "PR war" against this?

Xi Jinping could be making speeches denouncing American war crimes 24/7 and the average person outside of China would never hear of it.

This is the power of Capital.

Only fools fight battles they can't win.
I think that they can, and that it might be easier than you think.

TikTok is more popular than FB, any minute someone is on TT they’re not being bombarded with anti-China propaganda. It all adds up.

Murdoch will die soon.

But, by far the biggest reason that China will win the PR battle is because China is telling the truth, and the truth will out… eventually.

Tiktok is also pumping Anti China propaganda and every now and then one does get recommended such a video. Chinese Tiktok and Tiktok Global are vastly different entities when it coms to content.
Just last week i got Uiguyr genocide video on my fyp despite never viewing any video even close to the topic. I viewed some Chinese Infrastructure videos so maybe thats how the algorithm recommended this to me.

Same idiots posting Uyghur genocide videos are silent on Israel-Palestine war crimes and US-led occupation of Iraq/Afghanistan which killed in excess of 600K to 1 million people.

The propaganda is so bad, I just read up on HK news, and now I'm bombard with anti-China HK propaganda from Reuters, AP, CNBC, NYT, Bloomberg, etc... for fuck sakes man. Can they make their propaganda any less obvious?
