To help you fully understand who Xi Jinping is, here is a true event. When he was on the back seat (vise president), during a visit, he said "有些西方人吃饱了撑的,对中国指手画脚", translated to "some westerners have a full belly, having nothing to do but attack China". What do you think of his true thought and intention with this attitude to the "some westerners"? You think he just changed his mind after being president like a teenager whose view of life is still shaping? He is only hiding his true mind when he is at the front seat under the lime light as all politicians and statesman do.
Yes I know what Xi thinks about the West. But that doesn't mean that he should just come out and say it openly

Even now China is NOT qualified (Chinese favourite word lol) to go against the entire West by itself (and some minor countries with it).

Xi should be aiming instead to drive a wedge between them which he failed to do even with 4 years of Trump.

IMO maybe in 7-10 years China can withstand West by itself, but definetely not now

Its not that I overly criticise him though. The broad strategy is alright, is just the execution which is lacking here and there.

Btw thats all for diplomacy. Economically he will probably be remembered just after Deng himself

So who are his enemies?

The Chinese have recently turned their gun against Germany calling them out for being Nazi in the past (in reaction to them sanctioning China for HK). You say we play fire against fire but this isnt working

So now China wants to turn Germany against it. So who is next? Only France is remaining

So turn these 2 countries against it means the whole EU against China

So US + EU vs China and a bunch of corrupt and self serving countries in Asia

I heavily doubt this will work.

China has a good strategy but it has misstepped on the EU.

For the US I dont care. It was destined that it would turn against China.

EU is important though. If EU and US join hands then thats big trouble for China

Ofc China has its own cards to play but it wouldn't come out of it unhurt

Anyway, IMO Xi is now U-turning not even for the EU but for ASEAN. And he needs to finally reform China's utterly idiotic media system. Nobody pays attention to them with how bad they are
You seems to jump between extremes again.

In western democracy, a country is not one coherent piece. Calling out Nazi is not the same as against the whole German population. The Germans who sit on the bench against China are the enemies, the other Germans who kept an open mind are potential friends. Who want to be what is up to every individual. China will not shy away from poking the enemies just because some friends are living under the same roof. To put it simple, Germans like Gerhard Schroeder are still the friends of China, whoever Germans jump on the American bench are the enemy.

This applies to all the other examples that you brought up. So there is no need for me to go one by one.

One final but important note, Communist's world view is NOT based on racial/national lines, Communist deal with classes. Anybody in any country who shares the same vision is friend.

China has never been more qualified than it is now and even before, it has always made progress against every Western effort to stop it.

Your analysis is what has failed yet again. Relations with the EU and US have never been so terrible under Trump, but we are no longer in that time period. Powerless conniving rodents invest their efforts driving wedges against powerful foes for their own safety; China's too busy growing into a gargantuan to play gossip party, especially after the party is over.
IMO maybe in 7-10 years China can withstand West by itself, but definetely not now
How did you arrive at those seemingly random numbers in your unbacked statement?
Its not that I overly criticise him though.
But an insect biting at a lion's toenail.
The broad strategy is alrighty, is just the execution which is lacking here and there.
That is because your analyses are lacking everywhere.

And yet it is ok for all the western politicians to point their fingers on China's domestic matters? It is not only crazy person like Trump and Pompeo, but also Obama, Biden, the Brits and the EU parliament etc. etc.? Xi is noted to be straight like Deng Xiaoping, more straight than Jiang Zemin and Hu Jintao, that is good. You know what Deng said to Margaret Thechell regarding HongKong? "China is not Argentina, we will bring back HongKong peacefully or otherwise." Deng was leading a country whose GDP and military is only a fraction of what Xi is leading. Why should Xi be shy of saying things loud and clear?

Not ready to fully confront does not mean remaining silence all the time. Back in 1950s, China did not stay out of Korean peninsular, nor 1960s in Vietnam (against US), nor 1970s and 1980s in Vietnam against USSR. Those were standing against spheres of either super powers. Why should China be silent now?

Should or should not drive a wedge and what that wedge mean is your own wish that I am not going to debate. It is about preferred tactics.

Once again the "west" is not a well defined construct. In 10 years who knows who is still part of the "west". As for today, China is not picking on the "west" as a whole either. Remember Wen Jiabao's grand tour around France during Sarkozy's term? If you call the whole EU as the "west", China certainly has many friends in it, like Spain, Italy, France (for now), Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia, Greece etc. The composition of friends may change, but so does the enemies. This just demonstrate that there is no west.

It seems that your perception of what China is and should do remained unchanged from the 1990s. This is actually common among both pro-China and anti-China people. But time has changed, China has changed, so should everybody change regardless where people bet their future.

"The important thing is that the US has no means to prevent China from increasing nuclear deterrence. We have seen most of the US' coercion tools. There is no way for them to force China into a bilateral or trilateral nuclear arms control negotiation of no fair basis. Other tricks such as coaxing will also not work. On this issue that involves China's core interests, nobody can shake China's reasonable and firm attitude."

This story is going around. It's sort of like those recounting votes in Arizona where because a farm in the state caught on fire and it killed a lot chickens, they concluded that ballots that voted for Trump in Arizona for the 2020 Presidential election were shredded and fed to these very chickens.
I'm under the impression that personal dining habits aside, part of the reason for Kim Jong Un's weight is a deliberate attempt at cultivating an image similar to his dad and grandfather. Becoming skinny would cause a break in that.

That's not to say it's impossible. Kim has been showing signs that he is indeed trying to shake things up. Last year's military parade where KPA switched marching style from Soviet to Chinese is another sign of that. I've heard rumours that this year he intends to start a Deng-style economic reform. I'm eager to see if that pans out. He recently shed some tears and apologised publicly about failing the North Korean people in leading the country.

There is no "unfortunate" when Americans eventually receive their humbling, they deserve it!

The only unfortunate part is the good people I've met and made good working relationships with that aren't brainwashed pieces of shit. Unfortunately, however, they seem to a be a very small minority.
I was born, raised, and have lived here all my life, and I couldn’t agree more. I only hope to live long-enough to see AmeriKKKa humbled, humiliated, and desolated.

If I live to experience Chinese missiles raining down on AmeriKKKa, I’ll run outside to greet them (like the Iranians do) screamin’ do you MFs feel superior, now!

But, please, don’t spare any nation in the Crown worshiping Anglophone world.

Guess I’ll be getting a knock on my door soon!
