I am not sure if that has been posted yet, but there seems to be something really big happening right now in regards to the USA and this could have major implications.

This shows that it doesn't require either Russia or China to cross the sea to destroy the USA, all it seems to take right now are pandemics (which is suspected to be created by your truly only that it backfired epically), insurrections, blizzards and now this.

If the damages to this gas pipe line is real, then this could be a true turn for the worse for the USA and if lets say something like this happens to a nuclear power plant or even a nuclear warhead being programed to detonate above the USA (given the ease in which these systems have been hacked, these other scenarios are no longer out of the question), then well the USA has effectively defeated themselves, all of which is done without any visible input from China which to be honest is very embarassing

Taiwan did not receive an invite to WHA, and thus they are blocked five years running. Despite all the noise G7 were making when it came to time to either nut up or shut up all of them shut up.

So why did this happen? I thought it about it and can come up with 4 reasons, two practical and two political:

Practical:
1. You have organisations like Inter-Parliamentary Alliance on China asking for Taiwan's inclusion in WHA - can you be any more transparent in your political motives? WHA and WHO are you know, trying to solve actual problems like an ongoing global pandemic, it's not a place for your political grandstanding

2. What help can Taiwan bring to WHA/WHO? Are they a vaccine producing power house? Diagnostic kits? PPE? Do they have any pandemic prevention tips they can share? Oh right, they're staring at a potential major domestic outbreak due to very poor hotel quarantine measures as we speak

Political:
3. China is by a wide margin the largest exporter of COVID-19 vaccines at this time and it seems unlikely to change. If you piss China off then COVAX can kiss their supply of vaccine goodbye as China will then do it alone and dictate who on this planet gets vaccine and who doesn't. I'm sure that would do wonders for WHO credibility if that were to happen and WHO is clearly aware of this

4. Through recent struggles with the west China have discovered a critical, perhaps even insurrmountable weakness of "democracy" as practised today - politicians all want a big fat payout after they leave the seats. These paychecks and cushy jobs come from big international companies. And if you want to be somebody in the business field you have to do business with China. By holding Chinese sanction as a sword above their heads everyone is frightened and no one wants to stick their neck out and be the next Pompeo.

Thus across all of G7 - a group of countries making up more than half of the worlds GDP - not one person dared to actually step forward and invite Taiwan to WHA.

This is too complex. The reason is actually quite simple: China does not agree to allow Taiwan to attend.

WHA is an annual forum under WHO, a UN organization. WHO's members are sovereign nations recognized by UN, so Taiwan can not be a member. WHA technically can invite non-sovereign entity to participate, but since Taiwan is recognized as part of China by UN so Taiwan can only participate if China agrees. There was an agreement or understanding with WHO/WHA during the Ma Yingjiu administration that Taiwan would be allowed to attend WHA if they adhere to the so-called "92 Consensus" (effectively Taiwan and mainland China belong to one China). Taiwan did attend WHA during Ma's administration since Ma agreed to. Taiwan had refused to stick to the "92 Consensus" since Tsai Ying Wen came to power. It has never since been invited to WHA.

Those rules are all very good and well but such rules are easily bent. What really determines the outcome is who holds the power. If China is as weak as she was back during Qing days G7 could just as well point at a deer and tell China to admit it's a horse, if you don't agree they're going to beat you until you do. Too bad for them time has changed.

In the face of absolute strength and ability, all cheap tricks will be rendered useless.

I share your sentiment, but still this makes the matter unnecessarily complex to understand.

The agreement with China is there. If any member wants to overrule the agreement, they can propose a motion to invite Taiwan to participate in WHA (not WHO). If the chair deems there are sufficient support, the motion is then moved forward for a vote by all the members (close to 200). With China's opposition, Taiwan will never garner the majority of the votes. It doesn't matter if the US or G7 or G8 support it. In the past, there are several times when Taiwan's supporters tried to put out such a motion, but they have never even moved to the voting stage.

So the rules and procedures are good and well, but also very critical to prevent such an eventuality to happen. That is, unless China agrees.

Weren't there reports from like a month ago that this pipeline was already one of the biggest oil/gas leak in history, seems more like they need a excuse and a cover up for potential damage court cases. Ooh the russians/chinese or iranians did it, go sue them.

America is the real responsible party to this conflict, not Israel. Not all Israelis support such aggressive confrontation with Palestinians and the vast majority want peaceful co-existence. America on the other hand always wants to start up shit.
Disagree. Israelis overwhelmingly support apartheid and aggressive confrontation. Surveys after surveys have proven that. Religion combined with Ethno-Nationalism has its consequences.

LOL Western media claimed China was hiding population decline but now they backtracked without admitting it. Shame on you perennial anti-China critic Sui-Wen Lee.

Anyway I bet you pretty much every rich country had a downturn in births in the year 2020. Tough year.

Crisis always looming before China LOL. I don't even know what the word looming means anymore.
