The comments do raise a good question, though. How did the two pilots end up so close to each other after ejection, assuming that one didn't crawl to the other's location? Seems fishy.
Is it not crazy to think they crawled or walked to each other after?

This thread is predominantly for new, inexperienced posters on SD. There will be one in each forum and the questions should relate to the overall topic of the forum in which it is located..

It is for true nubie or greenie questions that we do not want to clutter up our main threads with.

It is also for "off the wall," questions or suggestions, even from more experienced users on SD.

Our forum is very broad ranging and everyone cannot be experts on everything...so in one of the forums, if you have a legitimate question you have been afraid or embarrassed to ask...this is where you can do it.

As moderators see questions that may fit into these categories on other threads...they may well move them here to try and keep our more serious threads as professional as possible.

Be patient. Longer time members will watch these threads as will moderators...but it may take us a whole to get to some of these questions.

So...with that...carryon!
Hey , please do you have any photographs of the CH-3A and CH-4 Ground Control Stations?
Thank you.

I'm new here and I don't know my way around.

Hi, how much sense does this make for China? Wouldnt make under wing or wing tip carry more stealthy?

Also with CL-20 now in mass production, can we miniturarise this a bit and fit 2x of these per J-20 side bay?

Note in the follow up tweet, the new missile is same width (wrt to fins not main body) as IRIS-T but much less in height (X-finsnon IRIS-T) , so could volume wise already fit 2 pieces per J-20 Side bay already assuming PL-10 is slightly larger, but with less range, than IRIS-T according to Wikipedia.

More on that:

None I guess, according to Diehl this is still in the concept design phase, AKA they haven't even started thinking what the actual design would look like, and the model is most likely a placeholder that bears little to no resemblence to the final product. To be honest the square shape (at least to me) feels more like an effort to get as much volume as possible out of the limited space of the weapons bay than anything else, which kinda makes sense because 1. as mentioned weapons bay volume is limited and any way of getting more stuff in there would be a plus; and 2. at least from the current concept pictures FCAS (the platform that this is designed to work with) has no side bays so designing a conveniently shaped short-range missile that can easily fit into the main bay without taking up too much space is desirable.

just my personal take tho.

Hi, this is my first post and I hope it is in the correct thread. My query is whether any one has any inputs of PLAAF converting J-7 fighters into drones, as they have done for J-6 fighters?
