Does anyone have either a detailed TOE document/illustration or a respected publication/news outlet which could be used to verify approximate size, in personnel numbers, of an Army's amphibious brigade?
From what I can gather such a brigade has:
4 maneuver battalions
artillery battalion
Air defense battalion
HQ and support battalion
and possibly a separate recon unit?
But without knowing how many soldiers each of those battalions/units has - it's impossible to deduce a fairly precise personnel figure.
At the very least, can anyone help with the regular maneuver battalion? How many troops does that have?
