I have not been around for a while. Sorry. The SH-60 helo and Arliegh Burke DDG's have excellent ASW abilities. Not to mention what ever SSN is deployed with a CSG.
Yes their ASW abilities are great.

Yet the major problem with US ASW now is quantity. There simply aren't that many Burkes around, plus the fact that 21 Flight I's don't have hangers. The fact that USN lack frigates is undeniably detrimental to its ASW capabilities.

You can make the good argument that its ASW is better than most countries, but we all know that's not good enough.

....and the Flight three do have hangars. The older ABs do not.

from Google AI..

Flight III Arleigh Burke-class destroyers (DDG-51) have hangars for helicopters, a key upgrade from earlier versions, allowing them to carry and maintain up to two MH-60R Seahawk helicopters for missions like anti-submarine warfare (ASW) and enhanced surveillance. While older Arleigh Burke destroyers (Flight I/II) only had a landing pad, the Flight IIA and Flight III ships added dedicated hangars and larger flight decks, significantly boosting their aviation capabilities.
