Aimless and baseless military platform speculation/fanboy thread

I have a concept: Could we build a super-massive aircraft carrier exceeding 600,000 tons, with a significant portion of its displacement dedicated to ensuring the vessel's survivability and equipment reliability? This would create a mobile fortress capable of withstanding saturation attacks from enemy advanced missiles. Even in an era where hypersonic missiles and spy satellites become commonplace, such a colossal sea fortress would retain formidable survivability.

Most of the military flagship threads are somewhat directed by rumours, imagery at minimum.

This thread will be a dump for moving various random posts that populate other threads which lack seriousness and become essentially baseless speculation/fanboyism, so as to not pollute the other primary threads.

I'm not sure what kind of thread this wild speculation (even speculation gives this suggestion too much credit), so perhaps I'll create a thread for it.

No, the difference is this thread helps to shame those sort of posts rather than encourage them.

In fact, what I may end up doing is locking this thread and moving other posts from other threads here so that everyone is able to observe what examples of undesirable posts are, but be unable to participate in continuing the discussion.

I didn't mean to offend you, but I initially thought you were joking. If you dislike such comments or feel certain remarks are inappropriate in some posts, you could have simply told me directly. Pinning my reply separately and using it as a cautionary example is truly disappointing.
