The quantity is what give the accuracy. They disperse over an area so many of them will land over the target. dozen of explosions over the target.
I'm not familiar with how troop rotation works in the Navy and Air Force, especially for an expeditionary force like what's deployed right now to Iran. But on top of the tanker crash showing that fatigue is starting to already starting to set in amongst the troops there, morale must also be plummetting as well. All the men and women serving there are enlisted personnel and will perform the duty per the oaths they swore, but you'd have to give them a damn good reason to keep fighting as the conflict drags out.
Even Vietnam at least had the narrative that the US was fighting Communism until it became clear years later the US had no idea what it was doing. And the fact of the matter is unless they're hardcore MAGA, just about everybody knows this time around from the getgo this war is for the Zionists and Trump's ego, not exactly a compelling narrative to sell to people whom you expect to be dying for you. As the war drags on, so too will the performance of the US forces continue to decline until the accidents pile up on top of oneanother.

All mistakes compoundiong , the Ukrainan war burnt the weapons and SAM interceptors , and the Russians helping with equipment,tools , technology and training the Iranians.
Just a little problem right there my prepper guy, in Vietnam there was already a civil war going on, the US entered as advisor. There is no civil war going on here so if the US don't enter with 500,000 or more at once in a huge build up they will just sending soldiers to meat grinder.
There is not sending 5000 soldiers and then next year 10000 because there all be death or capture.

Would make sense considering the Iranians gave the Russians their Shahed drone technology, so you would expect the Russians to give something to the Iranians in return for their help in the Russia-Ukraine war.
Most of the tech is definitely coming from China and Russia but not in System but in components for them to built their own system. Intelligence is more difficult, my guess the Russians are giving a lot of support finding US assets but is difficult to know because the Iranians, surprise, surprise have a extensive network of intelligence over the Middle East probably reaching Israel.
