True.

HQ-10 however does not need a fire control radar. It does need an air search radar, which can tell the HQ-10 launcher where to point at. The best way to look at it is to look at the Type 056.

You just need that rotating radar on the top. I think this already equips the Type 071, the Type 901, the 903 and the 053H3 refits.

CIWS has limited range and accuracy. It is well understood that a 76mm could do ground support, attack land targets and still act as a dual role CIWS against aerial targets and cruise missiles.

For that, lets use the 76mm gun instead of the HQ-10, then add the Type 347G FCR (the dish or rice hat like thingie) and/or EO balls (see the thingies at the top of the bridge here).

I guess it won’t be easy to add a 76mm gun on the 072A…

If it's only for leaker, I think 1 HQ-10 launcher for every 3 to 5 072A would suffice. Being a smaller ship and in a tight landing formation would make it pretty easy to cover multiple ship with 1 launcher. They could install it on a somewhat "landing ship leader" or they could simply shuffle some 056 or even 054A into the formation which could also provide shore bombardment for landing force.

Why not, it already has a gun on front, and its been shown you can slap a railgun on it.

If it has that twin 37mm gun on it, therefore, some gunnery radar or gunnery optics already exist on it. That can be used on a 76mm gun. A Type 347G or Type 349 gunnery radar is also small and can be conveniently added on top of the bridge if none exists.

The gun looks to be optically guided (Mk I eyeball)

A 76mm gun is significantly larger, isn’t it?

Yes a 3-inch gun is not just larger but also the below-deck 'drum' that carries its ammunition is also quite large. A 2.25 inch gun otoh would be a good choice.

Not necessarily. You can have a 3inch/76mm gun mount that is non-deck penetrating (eg. OTO 76/62 Sovraponte). The trade off is obviously magazine size - which may or may not be a problem depending on objective for said A mount.
