That was the plot. All the Mutants were made ill by a genetically engineered virus laced into the food supply. When a mutant ate it , it suppressed their powers or turned their cells against them. Professor X ate it and suffered seizures Wolverine and his healing abilities failed for unborn mutants well it wiped them out only ones left were the few strangling survivors or those kept alive in a lab.
It’s Fear mongering of GMO and mainstream groceries.

I take back hating it it just felt a little like trying to pander to a modern “First world problem” that I view in the same light as anti-vacs

Sacrifice an aborted timeline version of herself. So it didn’t happen. Besides she She only hit the Borg for now. To believe that the writers couldn’t bring them back is folly.

Bottom line she figured out a way to beat the Borg. Therefore providing the technology needed to help the Federation beat the Borg.

Limited technology. The Sheild system was comprised before the Borg arrived at earth. The Transphasic torpedoes worked okay.
The Stealth tech was comprised and not an option for adoption.
The virus hurt the Borg but they have been hurt before.

That virus was a game changer. No one couldn't get close enough and out smarted the Borg queen to delivered the virus that disrupts the entire system like Janeway did.

No Janeway herself was the game changer she got to the queen with it. The Borg Children had done it before.
However we have seen borg queen’s killed before.

Yeah but she went a step further by exploiting the Borg Queen and hive weaknesses. She disabled a large portion of the hive colonies through that virus dissemination. Therefore the Federation had good tool and knowledge in how to deal with the Borg, other than of course Species 8472.

Me and Benjamin Sisko never liked the whole Borg thing. Nope...

I like Star Trek.. the orginal series, Deep Space Nine & Enterprise. I never liked the Next Generation. Voyager? I've only see a couple of episodes. Enywho the thing I don't like about Star Trek in general is the confusing space time continuum/time travel:confused:. I don't like it at all:confused:.Just leave things alone I say..and everything will work out in the end... with great screen play..

That stated, I must say that to me the best Star Trek episode ever was in the orginal series.."City on the Edge of Forever". Just simply outstanding.
