That's what people are saying. He's not a Jedi but supposedly Force sensitive so maybe it helps him get around. Jiang Wen seems to wearing some different type of armor. It'll be interesting to hear about his history.

Yes, Donnie Yen is supposed to be blind. He is a blind warrior monk and he is supposed to be highly efficient with the Force.

Jiang Wen is a guide/protector of Yen's.

The main planet in the movie is something equivalent of Jerusalem, a place where people believing in the Force come to pay pilgrimage.

I was hoping Donnie Yen's character (Chirrut Imwe) would actually be Kanan from SW-Rebels, since he got blinded by Darth Maul in the S2 finale, but I seems he is a completely different character.

Supposedly they wanted Rogue One to be a war movie where there were no Jedi to keep the peace.

Rumor is the Empire is searching for a rare giant Kyber crystal that they need to be used for the Death Star's main weapon. Kyber crystals are what powers light sabres.
