Rogue One

At 00:46 you can see the empire armored vehicle and tank Storm trooper that I didn't know existed. It's pretty cool. But why would they need a rolling vehicle when they already have the AT-RT walker for urban combat?:)

Walkers might be too big and cumbersome for urban combat.

Oh my God It's Phase II...

For those who don't know, Back in the 1970's Star Trek had a popular cult following begging to get the series relaunched after It had been ended early. The Fans wanted more, And Paramount was starting to listen. The Idea was placed in development for a Concept that was dubbed Star Trek Phase II. Phase II was a New Star trek Series to be set after the end of the First 5 year mission and was to relaunch a refitted Uss Enterprise under Captain Kirk. Scripts were being written even a number of concept ships designed The Pilot was to show the New enterprise launched from a Asteroid based Dry dock on it's new 5 year mission.

Then Came an Event called STAR WARS.
Paramount suddenly needed something to try and catch the Scifi wave. Phase II was redevised into STAR TREK: The Motion Picture.

Trip wire issues.
I think 50% of the original cast has died since the show was over.
Michael O'Hare, The Original Station Commander Died in 2012 having a number of severe mental health issues which forced him to retire early in his career.
Richard Biggs The Station's Doctor Franklin Died in 2004 of a aortic dissection
Andrew "Andreas" Katsulas who played G'Kar and was a regular Guest allien in TNG Died in 2006 Of Lung Cancer. He was a Life long smoker.
Jeff Conaway Who played the assistant Chief and eventual Chief of security died in 2011 of Pnumonia compounded with by Health effects of past Drug abuse. but he joined the cast later in it's run of the cast from the first season to last that's 8 actors of them only Biggs, Katsulas and now Doyle have died. If you want to extend that out to all considered Main cast members that's 17 actors with only 5 having died.

Anyone who hasn't cancelled netflix checked out "Stranger Things" yet?

I've watched about 6 eps. Don't know what to think of it yet. It's a strange show...

Its definitely not on the same level of Daredevil, where you got hooked within minutes. I may not keep watching it if it is not because of the sci fi elements in it. who knows. We'll see...

Btw, why would anyone cancel Netflix? I love it. We binge watch shows. So Netflix is our favorite.

Talking about weird shows, anyone watching American horror stories? You can't get any weirder than that. It's an awesome show, extremely well made with excellent acting and intriguing plot. We love it. But it's sick... I mean they got some pretty psychotic stuff in it... viewers discretion definitely advised. My wife and I sometimes ask each other why we like this show so much. Is there anything wrong with us?

I've said this many time. They are making some very cool tv shows now, way better than the movies. The Hollywood movies are getting so boring.

I liked it a lot. For me it was as if the show runner put E.T., Stephen King's It and Stand By me, and a pinch of X-Files into a blender (and in a very positive way). Even though many elements and concepts are familiar and predictable, everything is executed so well that I couldn't stop watching it.
