...and the answer is, it could do a lot!

Just like an F-5E or and F-20 upgraded to new weapons ans sensors could.

Anyone facing them would have to respect them, particularly if they got into knife fighting range.

Definitely a cheap deadly plane that you don't have to worry to much about lost or damage. The only issue it would be facing is intercepting combat radius
