    I titled this photo: Fighting is over

    This image, never seen in another war (at least to my knowledge). Two armies that were killing a few hours before, now pass armed walking side by side while signing the surrender.

    Nice to see Argentine and British UN forces working together as they should have always been. Two Nations that should always have been good friends.

    35 years ago today. Surrender of British soldiers before the Argentine troops the day of the recovery of the Falklands/Malvinas Islands the 2 of April of 1982.

    An Argentine photographer who was in the islands managed to photograph the British prisoners, these photos were used by the British government for propaganda purposes.

    No offence intended to the British audience over these photographs. It is just a historical remembrance. I remember being called a non-patriot and a traitor to the fatherland, upon my return, since I was studying a broad at the time. The majority of conscripts on the Malvinas were born in 1962, as was I
