In my opinion,Singapore is very good for health care,Less crime, international standard as NY,London,Paris,.....metros.
As a professional or businessman ,Singapore is nice for short time, not for long time..
I also worry about that Singapore depend essential requirements on others countries.
I love to know..your opinions...
I love all.:):):):):):):):):):)

I find the Place to hot for long stays and not enough variety.I prefer Japan when it comes to honesty anyway. In bars you can leave your money/ wallet on the table and no one will steal it. It use to be like that in NZ many yrs ago when you didnt even have to lock the doors of ones home when going out. and I also like Switzerland for safty and trustworthiness.

I think people from singapore are very friendly, but a bit too conservative for my liking

Yeah the Asian countries are very different that the west when it comes to crime, i think it is a different attitide, i remember when i lived in korea, the door code to my flat was the same number as my flat number! but noone cared, there was no crime

In my heart...native land is the best and not to be surrendered our citizenship if your native land is good for your life.
But India PP holders have right to be both Singaporeans and Indians same as dual citizenship (they can back to their home and get Indian passport after stop Singapore or others citizenship).
In my opinion for reside at singapore ,I worry about Singapore future business & its dependency on essential requirements.
Singapore Government is very clever &it have good future plans.
Singapore will open Casino like LasVegas in near future.
Singapore also welcome to the foreigners but who must be at least... big boss or educated white collar HR ,easy to be a Singaporean.
I think that singapore is same as UAE plan..Dubai :coffee::coffee::coffee::coffee::coffee:.

I am a Singaporean. And I love my country to a certain extent. If you are one who would appreciate freedom of speech - then Singapore is not a country for you. If what you are looking for is efficiency, then welcome.

If you want your government to ask for public opinion in major decision, then sadly, I think our leaders are always thinking they are cleverer and better than the rest of us so don't expect them to ask for any public opinion.

Oh... by the way, Samba, why do you find Singaporean friendly? not to offend anyone here, but I am living my whole life in Singapore, and I couldn't share the same sentiment as you. I studied in Australia for three years, I find people there more helpful and tolerant to foreigners like myself. I am in China and the people there are so much friendlier (at least in the stores), I couldn't find any friendly faces in Singapore...

For me Singapore is a nice place to stay if you are looking for stability, cleanliness, trustworthiness, discipline, safety, etc.

But one down side I observe about Singaporeans, they are too serious when dealing with jobs, earning money, careers, etc.

I don't see Singaporeans as very friendly or hospitable people. But i can say they are pretty much neutral. So don't expect to encounter extreme racism.

Considering the high cost of living, I don't think there will be Singaporeans would provide you free lodging and free meals for several months even as guests. (Though except one of my friend who was rich, I was really treated well through out my 2 months stay) Haha...
