The Chinese developed the type 69 rocket propelled grenade in the 60's. It's basically a Chinese copy of the Russian RPG-7. I believe it's still in service with the PLA

It is under the small arms tab which is in the ground forces. From there you will find 4 type of light AT missiles.

Currently PLA doesn't have any Wired Guided Shoulder Launched AT missile like the ERYX that France and Canada operates, all the guided AT missile currently need to mounted on tripods or on vehicles

Not wanting to hyjack this, but does China have any plan to develop such system like the eryx??

dun you guys think that china should make something that has a wired guidence system or a ERYX. what will happen if chinese infantry come against tanks and they only have their RPG's which are inferior. won't they need something that has greater accuracy and is less risky for the user? the RPG is good but i think we need something better to knock out armor.

there is also the PF-89B, which uses a tandem warhead with the original launching cannister.

To be honest, I somehow dislike the Eryx because it's wire-guided. I think that developping a fire-and-forget AT weapon is better (I'm thinking of the US Javelin that's IR guided). You shoot and you hide, you don't have to wait for a hit before hiding. We cannot forget about combat surviveness of a advance system. A soldier with a Javelin will survive longer than a Eryx

i have a question, Javelin must mount on a tripod to fire right??
In theory is it possible to modified the eryx guidance system to fire and forget??

Javelin is man portable. I think the strength of the system is in its top attack mode, since the payload itself isn't very heavy.
