Nice depiction.
Of what?

It is certainly not a J-31. It is a single engine aircraft depiction...the J-31 has two engines. And the intakes are all wrong

Seems like much more of an attempt at a F-35 than J-31 to me.

But it is showing missiles on the fuselage underneath where the weapons bays for both aircraft are located.

That cgi looks more like a JF17 modified for limited stealth, not a J31.
You are right.

There are numerous CGIs showing it. It is not a J-31 at all. It is someone's dream about what a Block II JF-17 might look like.

But when looking at this one:

Computer generated images of stealth version of Sino-Pak JF-17 fighter 2.jpg

It is clear to me that they have basically taken an F-35 and morphed it into a JF-17. I do not believe that the Block II JF-17 will look like this at all.

In any case, this makes this OT here for sure.

Block II is not stealth ofc, maybe Block II low observable ? with some arrangements but no internal weapons bay as SK KF-X then no stealth, announced have a AESA radar to see.

Such a radical redesign as that CGI proposes is just not feasible or economical.

The PAF would be better off investing in the J31 if it wanted a stealth fighter and get a true stealth, rather than the semi-stealth JF17 that looses most of its RCS reduction advantage as soon as you hang any ordinance on it.

For do a true stealth aircraft with a decent range and intenal load impossible with a fighter which have the size of JF-17 so small.

Stay RAM coating right now China don' t have stealth fighters in service...inexperienced and the J-31 right now is don' t considered have a good RCS.

This is from a private company selling an anti-stealth optical weapons system. J-31 depicted on the picture on the wall. Are they claiming their system is on the J-31? Caption to this picture (Google translation) ...

Aviation star in second-tier products, including optical detection AUEODS joint guidance systems and FS series car, which AUEODS air target detection range of up to 200 km, FS series pods for F-22, B-2 aircraft detection range, respectively 70 km, 120 km.

Interesting... they have a few targeting pods which look similar to sniper.

As for FC-31 -- I think they're just offering their product as being "fitt-able" to the aircraft, not that it is necessarily already aboard or going to be aboard.

70km and 120km detection range against stealth fighter and bomber targets? Seems...optimistic.

EO/IR tracking systems are increasing in capability quite fast... and in the near future may be one of the most primary detection and tracking systems and fire control solutions for A2A combat against opposing stealth targets.

That said, I'm surprised they would pull out actual numbers for actual real world aircraft. I suppose it's based off their own estimates, but they should know better than to put out claims that many may deem as "unrealistic" (even if they are not that unrealistic).
What I'd like to know is why their F-22 detection range is lower than B-2's... are these ranges for when both are subsonic? Because if it was for F-22 supercruising or on afterburner the detection range should be far larger for even a four engined subsonic flying wing.

anyway the company is called jiangsu a-star it seems
they have a website, but it seems like these products (or any products) are put up...
