Again ... and You believe that promo-video ??? Come on: How should four GB-6A powered glide munitions fit that bay ???
Anyone who believes in this is either stupid or has smoked some certain herbs too much.

GB-6 is similar to AGM-154, range, warhead but only a project

Look like missile but glidr bomb problem much less fast for speed and more vulnerable but less expensive and in much greater quantity than AGM-158 by ex.

According mockup FC-31 so only a estimation... normaly only 1000 lbs fit in the weapons bay but not impossible 4.
T-50 is completely different for arrangement with 2 int bays in tandem 4 x 500 kg

Not really sure if it is only a project. At least one of them was seen under a J-16 at SAC alias TL-500...

Well when I said AI, I meant leaving the decision making skills to it as well.
As to the outcome, I agree that a computer with millions of computations per second will likely make less mistakes than a human however there is the psychological impact of such an engagement especially when life and death is at stake.

It's not too different than self driving cars. Would you let your car drive itself even if say some scientist shows you analysis and stats that says it's 10x safer than human drivers?

and to be honest, self driving trucks and cars are rather insane as well?? machines have no "compassion" and compassion goes beyond avoiding a collision with something, its avoiding having taking another life, a child or even a dog, that makes the human operator so much more willing to sacrifice oneself, rather than "take a life"... theres no way you can "program" that into a machine, in fact theres no way you can instill that in another human being who doesn't have it??

look at ISIS, cold hearted, ruthless, less than humane in all their thinking?? less than human values, even cold hearted people will take extreme measures to avoid taking life for selfish reasons??

as I said, its an extremely intense ethical issue, beyond the average persons thinking ability to "see the possible consequences", why the world is full of folks who buy into "junk thinking", failing to fully "flesh out" the eventualities that will occur just understanding the human motor!

we've gone far, far, afield gentlemen, end off topic. (mods feel free to move or delete this or any other post I've made that is so far off the beaten path, I wanted to respond to something that I find extremely troubling in its totality)

Here I'm gonna disagree wit ya bro, its a lot different than self driving cars,,, its an ethical question, and I'm gonna put the Ka-bosh on any such weapon,,, ISIS is bad enough with out and compassion, as kold blooded killers! NO

Nothing to disagree about brother.. I haven't taken any sides in regards to this but yes there is certainly the ethical and psychological questions people I.e pentagon, POTUS etc need to make in the not so distant future.

What is irrefutable IMHO is that with the advancement in autonomous AI and drone technology, we all know that day will come.

It seems that Saudi interest in the FC-31 is more serious than we thought ... the RSAF is seriously considering co-funding the development of the FC-31, and it has been reported that King Salman took a chartered flight to SAC in 2016 just to see the aircraft himself. It is also rumored that Pakistan might be interested in the FC-31 as well.

There has been persistent rumors of KSA and Pakistan "interests" in the FC-31, so more rumors are just that, rumors. There's a saying that goes "money talks; bullshit walks," and we'll wait and see if it's shit or Shinola. I lean towards the former.

Provided that such rumors are credible (a big "if", to be fair), it does seem to signal interest beyond the usual "show-and-tell" enthusiasm from the KSA. But wait-and-see is pretty much what observers must do.
