Anyways. A maintenance guy cut the power to my building suddenly (without warning), because he was changing some lights somewhere. Luckily I was just watching the news and not working on my term paper (which I honestly should have). If I had, I'd have to do something to the maintenance guy.... Perhaps it's a sign?

The flies took revenge on humans..?

A few days ago, I killed about 5 flies trapped inside a plastic bag outside my house, some were copulating. On a separate event, also occured a few days ago, I slap a fly inside the hose with shirt and fainted it. I then stabbed it with a toothpick, took it outside, doused it with petrol and burned it. That'll teach it not to mess with me. :nono:

Right now I'm studying for exams, still have 3 more to go. I'm stuck on a question, it's not really hard but I'm sleepy.

well at least you guys didn't eat a fly cause you were yawning after studying for the uni finals....*sigh* 1/4 of my life hitting the books...so sad

You guys don't have to tell me but where do you go to school? My daughter is a senior at UC Berlkey. My son that was in the USN for 11 years is now a senior at SDSU in San Diego..

Did he serve to be able to study? (I hear many Americans do so)

I'm studying Chinese in fact. The proper forum for me thus! (though I doubt I'll be able to read Chinese military jargon for some years still)

no..things just turned out that way. When he got out he worked for the VA and discovered all the educational benifits and took advantage of them.

The trick is to, convince your future employer, that you are smart enough to pass uni exams, but not dumb enough to stay. So you attend for a couple of years only and then drop out.

One of our High Flyers in N.Z. (Sam Morgan)studied economics for a couple of yrs at uni, decided it was all B.S. quit, and inside ten yrs sold his business he created for $1 billion. (P.S. both his parents were uni graduates, his father a very successful economist and funds manager)

I was in my International Political Processes class the other day and the professor was having us discuss the role of religion in international politics, so I raised my hand and made a long winded comment about it, but substituted the words "Morgan Freeman" for "God" every time I would have said "God".

About half the people got it and half were just like "what the hell is wrong with that guy".
