Re: Indian Military News II

So five flying prototypes so far, with an IOC of around 2016-2017, but it's not the "production version" How does that timeline work then?

actually back to four prototypes after 05s fire, does anyone have any information regarding the return to flight of 05?
Is it even possible, it seems that theres not been a lot said regarding the damage? The F-35 that suffered an engine fire will probably be scrapped, and depending on the extent of damage to 05, particularly its aluminum/titanium backbone it could possibly suffer the same fate??

Good morning Mr. Huang, nice thread sir!

A few Air Forces will claim they are the best. The pride in their air defence and offence capabilities can also be exaggerated at times. The real tests come with the type/degree of pilot training, aircraft they have, & actual combat experiences. The USAF, RAF & the IAF (Israeli Air Force) have "Top Guns". The USAF & RAF have a history of successes during WW II, and all 3 Air Forces in air ops in the ME in recent times. Several Air Forces in Asia are interested (within budget constraints) in having the best fighter/s, besides having well trained fighter pilots. As for aircraft, I still believe the F35 is the best. SEASON'S GREETINGS & HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ONE & ALL.

According Aminova have no external Raptor Suspension arms (the latest anti-radar missiles can not be placed on board), while the weapons for the T-50 is designed so that the newest models of weapons will be placed in the inner compartments of the aircraft.
It is also expected that the new engine for the T-50 will make the plane more maneuverable, and subtle (reduced emissivity in the infrared range). Modern weapons and do not leave the F-22 chance in a dogfight against the T-50.

Т-50 ОКБ Сухого vs F-22 Raptor » Военное обозрение

It's fan made. Not real.

And PAKFA has a MTOW of 33.5 tonnes. It is one tonne less than the Su-35 which is at 34.5 tonnes.

Re: Indian Military News II

Don't you think it rather optimistic to believe that the PAK-FA won't see any weight increases?

Weight increase will come from heavier (more powerful ) engines, improved avionics and possibly new RAM coating. Structurally, PAK FA is completed . You cannot pull high-g maneuvers like those from 0:30 in unfinished plane
