The Russian Federation is far better off with President Vladimir Putin in power, than anyone else.
Almost 20 years under his rule and still Russia is a pitiful caricature of a state with laughable economy based on exporting oil and other natural resources.

Yeah, he's pretty successful.

Russian official says Turkey wished to accelerate implementation of contract on delivery of air defense systems

Russia will begin implementing the contract on the delivery of S-400 air defense systems with Turkey in early 2020, the presidential aide on military cooperation told a local television on Monday.

"Turkey expressed a wish to accelerate its implementation and we managed to find the most appropriate solution as we agreed to accelerate the contract’s implementation, so I think we will begin to fulfill it sometime in early 2020," Vladimir Kozhin told Rossiya 24.

Kozhin also said that Russia has got requests from Greece and the Greek Cypriot administration on new arms supplies, but he added it is too early to give any details.

Last December, Turkey announced that it had concluded an agreement with Russia for the purchase of two S-400 systems by early 2020.

The S400 system has been in the inventory of Russian Army since 2007.

This missile system -- designed for high efficient guard -- is able to detect 600-kilometer-away targets (372.8 miles) and eliminate targets such as stealth aircraft and ballistic missiles.

The S400 system is composed of at least one mobile operation command center and 8 launcher and 32 missiles.

untill 1991 all best equipped, best trained forces of the soviet army were concentrated for the strike on the territories of eastern european countries: east germany, czechoslovakia, hungary.

second echelon of troups that was to follow the attack force was located right behind, on the territories of the western republics of the ussr: belorussia, ukraine, baltic states, moldova. those overnight became independent.

in 1991 new russian president (abridged soviet president) in moscow had virtually no ground forces except for a handful of rear training divisions. it was not untill putin came to power actual formations started to appear. now a full striking force is available on the south-western direction.

Russian An-26 Military Plane Falls In Syria...

By the looks of it, seemed as though was taking off from the base (there planes in the foreground of camera). Looks as though there was sudden loss of lift to the aircraft. Quite possibly the horizontal stabilizer.

Russian An-26 Military Plane Falls In Syria...

very sad, its quite obvious that he has stalled the airplane and rather than put the nose down, and throttle up, he continues to pull back on the stick, we see a departure to the right and loss of directional control...

So it is an "approach stall", had the engines been developing full power, the loss of directional control would have been more pronounced, so the engines are likely at "flight idle", and rather than lower the nose and recover the aircraft,,, he's doing what comes naturally that close to the ground, and pulling back on the yoke...

I hate to judge a dead brother, but its clearly very poor "airmanship",,, we see Russia's best of the best performing at airshows and putting T-50's and Su-35's to the acid test, well outside the limits of mere mortals.. but better to land short with the aircraft under control, than to depart the aircraft and develop a high rate of sink, and descend uncontrolled into the ground....

So "throttles to the wall", stick forward and fly out of this "nightmare",,, its really not hard, but when you don't want to go around, or maybe can't??? (engine or fuel issue),,,, if you lose one or both engines on short final, and you're already "behind the power curve", stick forward, even if you land short...

if he had two turning, then there's just no excuse,,, airspeed is obviously decaying as the video progresses
