That second paragraph wasn't a response to your statements. That should have been more than obvious to you since the only person to claim future Russian glory is B787. It was obviously for his benefit. Only the first paragraph was meant for you. I'm not going to try and decipher your moronic riddles. I merely called them out in the hopes you would reveal this magical buddy of Russia we all seem to be missing and unaware of. Learn to read and think.

Listen bud, your post had my comments quoted. Which to any sensible person would mean that your post was in response to mine. I ain't a psychic, nor would assume reading a post with me quoted to be a response to someone else. So go to an optician or something and get your eyes checked out.

Also, your condescending tone, nor your irrational rants are not appreciated. If you don't have the intellectual acumen to discuss things, and resort to rash remarks. Then I suggest you go rant elsewhere. This is a respectable forum where people discuss things using their knowledge. People with intellect do not resort to losing their temper, name calling, or any other sort of childish behavior. Either be an adult and behave like a civilized individual. Or go back to kindergarten and learn some manners.

I'm not in the habit of interacting with your sort. So this is where I end the conversation.

Regards,

Nasr Khan

Sure thing. Seems like you don't want to provide us with more of your insight. We're left to guess who this magical ally of Russia is. Let me remind you that you were the one who started saying stuff like this that leads nowhere; "A day will come soon enough when Russia will know who is really its true friend and who is not. If you read history, it would reveal the truth." What on earth is that. Pure nonsensical drivel. You need to be more explicit or refrain from posting ambiguous things of this nature. So I responded with one question asking you to be more specific and you only carried on with the same line and asking us to guess at it. Second para was perhaps a misunderstanding. It isn't directed at you. I didn't need to make that clear for your benefit. That onus was not on me. It is on the readers following the conversation and context. It was clear enough aimed at B787's remarks about Russia's future reign. But okay that was just a misunderstanding between us. I agree completely with your points about multipolar worlds and US starting to lose hegemony. I disagree strongly with B787's posts about Russia taking over in the future because of their cultural might. They have none. Not much in history and for the foreseeable future.

Officials with the Defense Ministry of the Russian Federation said that Russia had the largest number of tanks and infantry combat vehicles (BMPs). The result was achieved owing to the supplies of new armored vehicles during the recent five years.

"During the five-year period, from 2012 to 2017, the Russian army has received more than 25,000 units of new armored and motor vehicles and 4,000 state-of-the-art models of rocket and artillery weapons, which allowed the Russian Federation take the first place in the world in terms of the number of tanks, infantry combat vehicles and MLRS systems," Deputy Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, Army General Dmitry Bulgakov told the Krasnaya Zvezda newspaper.

"Today, the share of modern weapons and military equipment already exceeds 50 percent," the general added.

Bulgakov noted that all the hardware was ready for use. "The defense industry has taken the level of technical operability to 98 percent. Everything in the Russian army is ready for intended use," the official said.

Kommersant: Submarine scandal surfaces between Russia and India
An unprecedented scandal broke out between Russia and India with Moscow suspecting that New Delhi granted US Navy representatives access to the Russian nuclear submarine of Project 971i, operated by the Indian Navy since 2011. According to Kommersant, the incident threatens to seriously complicate negotiations both on the lease of the second nuclear submarine, and on other projects in the field of military-technical cooperation between the two countries.

Several sources in Russian state structures have confirmed that with the newspaper saying that the Indian partners have recently committed several "unfriendly acts towards Russia." First, according to them, the US Navy delegation visited the aircraft carrier Vikramaditya (property of the Indian Navy) and Russian officials were forced to issue a note of protest. After some time, a high-ranking military source told Kommersant, the American delegation was already on board the Chakra.

Kommersant’s source working in the military technical cooperation system, called the fact that the US Navy appeared on a Russian submarine (located on the base near Vishakhapatnam, pending repairs) outrageous. "There were well-trained technical specialists, though unlikely to get any information," the source said.

According to the newspaper, this whole string of incidents can have a very adverse impact on defense cooperation between the two countries, which has been successfully developing over the past five years. According to several sources, specialized Russian structures are preparing retaliatory measures against their Indian partners. "Very difficult conversations are on the horizon, we have a lot of questions," a source said. Some who spoke to Kommersant believe that, in particular, the negotiations on leasing the second nuclear submarine, which the Indian Navy planned to obtain from Russia, will be seriously complicated.

According to Kommersant, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin, who intends to come to India in December with one of the largest deals on Russian arms, will have to iron out the problems that have accumulated. In addition to the Chakra issue, he must negotiate the creation of a fifth-generation fighter under an agreement which was signed back in 2007, but neither the airplane's conception nor its financial parameters have been determined yet........

looks like the Kremlin got a problem in Syria:
Israel says downed Syrian spy drone over Golan Heights

Israel shot down a Syrian spy drone over the Golan Heights on Saturday, the Israeli military said.

The drone was downed with a Patriot interceptor missile over the Golan demilitarized zone that has separated Israeli and Syrian forces since the ceasefire deal that followed their 1973 war.

The military initially told Reuters the UAV was Russian-manufactured but offered no evidence. A military source later said it was unclear whether the UAV was indeed Russian-made.

“It was a reconnaissance UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) and not an attack UAV and we are checking whether there is any connection to Iran and Hezbollah,” military spokesman, Lieutenant-Colonel Jonathan Conricus, told Reuters.

Israeli Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman said Israel viewed the incident gravely and would respond to any provocation.

“We hold the Syrian regime responsible for any firing or breach of sovereignty and call on it to hold back all players active in its territory,” Lieberman said in a statement.

Russia intervened in the civil war on behalf of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad in 2015, joining a de-facto alliance with Iranian forces, Lebanese Hezbollah and other Shi‘ite Muslim militias helping Damascus beat back Islamic State and other Sunni Muslim insurgent groups.

Israel fears an eventual Assad victory could leave Iran with a permanent garrison in Syria, extending a threat posed from neighboring Lebanon by the Iranian-backed Hezbollah and has been lobbying Russia and the United States for reassurances that Iranian and Hezbollah forces will not be allowed to deploy near its border or set up bases within Syria.

“We will not allow the Shi‘ite axis to establish Syria as its forefront base,” Lieberman said.

The Golan, which Israel captured from Syria in the 1967 conflict, has seen spillover violence from the Syrian civil war. Israel has at times fired to foil what it deemed deliberate cross-border attacks and has struck suspected Hezbollah arms shipments around 100 times in Syria during the civil war.

For its part, Russia has set up a military hotline to prevent warplanes or anti-aircraft units clashing accidentally over Syria.

LOL delft the article I linked starts with Беспрецедентное
Unprecedented ...
Good point, but it shows they are learning that general officers should know a lot about how a cooperation service works and this might be the first sign they recognize this.
