The image is not accurate at all, the intakes are not the same, the PAKFA intakes are similar to the F-22`s but with variable geometry, this makes them unique, the wing swept is different, the Su-27 has sharp LEX for low pressure vortices generation of higher swept than the main wing; the PAKFA has plan forming alignment making the swept of the moveable LEX basically aligned to the wing leading edge.
So to answer the PAKFA is similar to the Su-27 in the same way it is similar to the F-14A, the only similarities these two jets have is the fact they use the integral configuration of a wing fuselage blended lifting body and podded engines, besides that the jets are a different generation and concept

Except he did not state they were similarities between PAKFA and the SU-27. He is said it is noting similarities with the SU-35.
