Extra flat fighter unusual, now with a budget which going for decrease AF can' t afford this one in number before enough long time and reasons why they have buy a 2nd Su-35 batch and not impossible one other or Su-30SM which are 30 - 50 % less expensives

it has 4 weapons bays, it can carry several weapons in the weapons bays but in limited numbers, very likely 6 to 8 air to air missiles, some air to ground weapon types, but also in small amounts.

the PAKFA you are looking now is not the final version, it is just an early variant with weak engines, better than Su-35 just by better stealth and sensors but at a much higher price

Yeah let's give them the benefit of the doubt. The Russians know what they are doing. And at least the Indians bought it. Maybe the US propaganda is not necessarily the only solution on stealth.

Yes I agree that LO technology evolves. Su-57 is a beautiful looking fighter. I wonder how they managed to fit missiles in those tiny looking side bays. Does anyone have actual images of them opening like we do with J-20's side bays?

As for VLO, photonics based radars in coming decades will change the game again. Not wise to spend billions on acquiring massive numbers of fifth gen, probably why the Americans cut back on F-22 and involved so many countries in F-35.

Best strategy for air superiority and SEAD seems to be investing in next gen drones and munitions but that's another discussion. Su-57 has always been a stunner and should be a capable platform. Pity it's also going to the Indians.

I wonder how the development of WS-15 and Project-30 is going for these new fifth gen fighters. China and Russia is so lagging in engine technology. F119 came out more than a decade ago. F135 and F136 are already mature platforms.

I guess it's not the best place to discuss this but the FGFA has to do with the T-50 and india is increasingly becoming a extremely nationalistic state that can really one day be using this machine for its intended purposes.

On this topic, any updates on how the FGFA will be turning out? So far we haven't seen any two seater versions. I understand the Indians and Russians have reached new agreements re this program. Wonder when they'll be receiving deliveries.
