Royal Norwegian Navy fires NSM missiles from Skjold class corvette and Nansen class Frigate
On Wednesday October 10th 2012, Royal Norwegian Navy marked history by firing an anti-ship missile from a surface vessel for the first time. The vessel in question was HNoMS Glimt, . Five days later, on October 15th 2012, another NSM missile was launched from HNoMS Roald Amundsen, Nansen class Frigate. Both firing tests were reported as successful.
