Here is the summary:

China ahead due to more efficient one party system and low production cost.
China will have a population short fall in a few years due to one child policy.

India has slower growth behind China due to democratic system but stresses innovation over low cost copy.
India is projected to overtake China in population.

You don't want to use those links. They're BBC reports, and as everyone knows the BBC hates China so anything they say is anti-Chinese propaganda.......

I agree, not only that but it likes to talk crap on almost anything.
Indeed the BBC is our national propoganda channel, don't you love it?

Looks like I'm not the only one who thinks BBC is biased against China. It seems in almost every report they comment something about human rights or environmental problems. England and India share a common history, so of course BBC will support India. Not to mention the large Indian population in UK. Plus, the BBC supports the United States 100%, so if the US says something negative about China, BBC will follow.

I watched those reports months ago. Sadly, I never posted them in the Interesting Videos section.

While I agree BBC has some anti-China tendencies, but I also think they are anti-everybody. I understand the UK government hates them too, probably as much as the Chinese.
They also have some quite hard-hitting reports on the Iraq war.

Lol, I can't believe anyone took me seriously. I was being completely sarcastic, given China doesn't look terribly bad in the news report. I mean you did actually watch them - right guys?

I also think they are anti-everybody.

Lol, why? Because they have critical news reports? I could say the same about CCTV, which seems to focus on the bad stuff happening outside of China.

What would you prefer the BBC to report on?

"And today, a fluffy kitchen ran across the street in X and made everyone stop and pause with a big sigh."

The BBC is far from perfect, but show me a media network that is. :D

I thought it was a balance report.
The only negative thing I saw about China is its one party system, but that was shown as a more efficient way for development. Other "negative" about China is its aging population and lack of english language skills (love the Chinese students singing Edylvies sp?).

I agree. It was quite fair to both countries.

Completely true, though. One could have accused the BBC of bias for not mentioning it.
