More snow! will it ever end?? Another 5 1/2 inches of snow early this morning. Here's a video of us driving. Today was a snow day for most. Myself also but I went to work anyway to do some set up for scheduled conference tomorrow. I'm so nice..that way 1st shift does not have to come in so early...and early is zero-dark-thirty..about 0530...

Winter is Coming!

No no no!! winter is done..It's supposed to rain this weekend with high temps in the 40sF.

I've not had the flu or flu like symptoms since 1996. No foolin'! And since then I've had only four colds.. I'm blessed!

Sunny skies 58* outside. Fever broke though I swear I saw the buzzards circling for a while. Snow we got where I am was gone a quarter of am hour after the storm moved on.

LOL..Oh were are giving weather reports now.. Ok here in Cedar Rapids IA it's 32F cloudy with snow flurries.. Spring seems like a dream right now.

Frankfurt airport, Europe's third busiest, closed at midday after recording about 12 centimeters (5 inches) of snow. More than 355 flights had been canceled by mid-afternoon.

The airport closed because of five inches of snow?? C'mon now. I don't get it. Here in Eastern Iowa the last three weeks we've had about 16 inches of snow and there was some flight delays because of the snow.. but closed? No way. no how. Keep 'em flying boyz!...Snow is the reason God invented snow plows..

Ahh the first day of spring!! NOT!! the birds are freezing their butts off in eastern Iowa....Monday we got nearly 2 more inches of snow..Most of it's gone now. Here's our first day of spring forecast..It's a balmy 12F(-11c) right now! well at least the sun is shining!

Believe this or not I was thinking of moving to Houston before I left San Diego. But I did not know anyone there..plus the cost of living is much higher than Iowa.

Let's see what the temp is right now in San Diego...62F(17c) mostly cloudly. In Cedar Rapids right now..21F (-6c)..burr! and if you factor in the wind chill it feels like -6F..double burr!!
