I have been gone for way to long!!!! Started a new job last may, new house, etc etc.... I miss being up to date on the world militaries :(…. My new job is a sales rep for a Large Capacty forklift manufacturer.... We build huge forklifts up to 125,000 lbs. That's me on the yellow $300k machine!!! It is an engineering marvel in itself.

So I have been following the U.S news more and been reading into how FUBAR our political system is... Sad.

Anyways that is my rant...…. Well did I miss anything?

My son run's a fork truck for DOT Foods in the Frozen Warehouse, it has a camera and computer, he "picks" orders to ship, loads and unloads pallets from the ground floor up to about 6 stories, its crazy how tall the warehouse is, you couldn't do the job without the camera!

I have run a few fork lifts, propane and gas, in a few warehouses, in fact I have a forklift operators license, or at least I did.....

I've never seen anything quite that "Grande", amazing, simply amazing!

welcome back my boy, and while we have a small mess, you and I go where we please, when we please, and we eat a steak when that particular craving strikes us!

I have no desire to capitulate to the likes of the last administration, so I encourage you to fight on, at least this president respects and loves our country, and our freedoms...

congrats on the new house bub, now you prolly need some more babies to fill it up!

That monster orange forklift is 100% built in America! It's one of the largest privately owned manufacturer of high capacity forklifts! Made in the Heart Land of Chicago

Yep, the Trumpsters pro business policy, tax cuts, killing the Obamacare individual mandate, discouraging American businesses from using "foreign sweat shop labor", and employing American workers has put America back to work, and is restoring the "Spirit of America"!

I'm very happy you have a great new job with a bright future in Chicago Illinois, drive down interstate 55 and I'll talk Air Force Brat #4 into taking us for an airplane ride, I've got the gas money!

That big one will pick up 20' ISO Containers no problem, I hauled them for three quarters of my driving career. You should see the BIGGER ones that can pick up 40' containers and stack them 8 high! Or the even Bigger ones than that they use to pick up LOADED 40' containers! That a box 40'long by 8' wide by 9.5' high weighing up to 30 tonnes! Then they gently land it on the four twistlocks at the corners of your trailer with such a gentle touch, true artistry at work when you see them in action!23.3.2011 001.jpg photo0026.jpg F916 TJV0001.jpg Scania 124R4200004.jpg MAN TGA 26.410 01.jpgA selection of the Trucks I drove for a living between 1994 and 2015 when illness forced me to retire.

Also here in the US almost zero "cab over wheels" trucks. Very very few. Most of the Big Rigs you see here in the US are what we call "conventional". Thusly;

Yep, I've always liked trucks, in fact I've hauled a few loads in an International Cabover, nice truck, I want to say it had a 13 speed "roadranger", then I drove large straight trucks with 10 speeds, hauling gravel out of the quarry for the township,, the "Honey Badger" is the township clerk. I really like driving trucks, and I had a big Kenworth Conventional that drove like a Cadillac, I was getting ready to go take my A license test, when the guys neighbor said he would haul grain for him, so that was the end of that...

Its been 4 or 5 years ago, now I drive a school bus everyday, 4 individual routes each school day! thank God I have health insurance now, that "DAMNED OBAMACARE" was bankrupting me with fines from the individual mandate, fining me because I didn't have health insurance, because I couldn't afford "Obamacare" as I'm an old "white guy" and didn't qualify for any of their stupid subsidy's, LOL

Trump got rid of the "individual mandate" and fining people who couldn't afford health insurance! he's a good man that does care for the working man, we elected him, he also loves the country and realizes he needs to defend it,, ask anyone who's a patriot in our military, they're thankful to have a "Commander in Chief" that's trying to take care of them! and for those who wonder, we have an "ALL VOLUNTEER MILITARY"!
