Our son Jared, who is our fifth child and youngest (he will be 28 yearls old this year) just got engaged to be married!

We are really excited for him. He's worked hard, has a great position in the landscape company where he has been for the last five years, his boss and the owner really value him and have promoted him several times and they are thinking of financing his schooling for a landscape architecture degree.

Anyhow...we are so excited for the and his sweetheart. Ann. Not only are they a handosme couple, but they are good kids, and will have a lifetime of happiness together!

Love it, all with driving my bus's, I substitute teach in pre-k-12, today I had the 7th grade History and Literature classes, and I really enjoyed these young people, they are a hoot!

I reminded them that only I get paid to be funny, and they get paid to learn, we had a great time, and they are great kids. I just love Jr. High, now pre-school and kindergarten?? I pick up preschoolers and then drive them home every day after my regular route,,,,,, I'm truly concerned about these kids,,,, their parents must think that their poor behavior is funny, lots of little rotten behavior, a few bad words..

Where do they learn this stuff?? Jr. High, not a single bad word, or foul attitude, then I taught early childhood for children with disabilities, two with Down Syndrome, tomorrow I am teaching the MD class, (multiple disabilities), one young man has "Angel Man Syndrome", love all these kids, love the opportunity to spend time with them??

but you are exactly right Deino, the kids I taught today were happy I was there, and tried to tell me about their teacher?? I told them it was easy to sub, but I rather doubt I would be so patient if I had to do this every day???

Jura reminds me that we haven't seen much of Bro Jeff since his return from California, he had traveled to his Father in Law's Funeral. We hope you will join us in praying for Jeff and his family, they are so much a part of our SDF family, and Jeff's fight with cancer has been a "nasty one" for some time, thanks brat and Jura!

Here's another phone scam to report. The scammers are now using robocalls to sound like real people are on the phone. When you say "hello," the robo call will act like there was some little mishap on their end and then say "I'm sorry can you hear me okay? When you say "yes," they use that to have the phone company bill you third party charges. I've had a couple of those calls where I thought it was a real person but quickly recognized it as a robocall and just hung-up. I only recently found out if I had said "yes." it could be used to charge me for things I didn't order.
