Equations offers good advice, I know I am going to act upon it as I have health issues of my own.

Last December I went to the hospital as a day patient to have three hernias fixed.
To cut a long story short I ended staying six days and a $500 parking fee. they unexpectedly discovered I had a tumour in the main bile duct at the head of the Pancreas After a biopsy they recommended I have my pancreas removed which I will be in a couple of months time.

I had no symtoms other than bouts of indigestion which I thought was due to too much wiskey and belly pork.

After the operation I will not be able to drink anymore...... sigh.

...and I thank you likewise for yours my friend.

For whatever reason for a season here, the tumors in my liver have not taken off. I am feeling more and more pain, but they are not growing at the rate that will take my life in a month or so...although at any time they could.

The ones in my pectorials, my backbone, and skin continue to grow slowly too.

I know there are some thigns God in HEaven wants me to accomplish yet...and professing His name is one of them. Also, showing my kids and grand kids that even though things are dire and even though things are hard and you may have been pronounced terminal...yu can still have a positive outlook, and hope for the future. One day, all of them will face hardship, sickness, and difficulties...I hope they remember what their Papa did when it came to for him to face his.

It saddens me to here of your pain and ordeal my dear brother. I will pray for strength for you and your family. All I can say is that you are a rock to all of us and I (along with many here) respect and draw strength from your unbendable faith.

Thanks Equation I have yet to come to grips with the idea of losing my pancreas and the lifestyle readjustment that is required post surgery

With a $500 parking fee I got hit with but they later waived when I explained the situation to them, I have worked out why the medical feels are so cheap, they make their money from paid parking:(

While I don't think its a true wine because its blended with fruit juices I found the Spanish Drink Yago San Gria A very pleasant summer drink and it makes a nice change for people who don't like alcohol and a change from Grape Juice.
Sadly it has never been popular in NZ and its been pulled from the market
