Looks like fun miragedriver. I've not had a beer since January 2003.

===========================================================

Yesterday I decided to replace my old purple streaming stick with a new one because of what I've seen and read on line. So I reset my old purple stick to factory settings because it was may plan to gift it to my daughter.

I bought the 2016 streaming stick at Walmart. I tried to install it. The remote appeared to be pairing but it did not function. I contacted Roku via Chat and followed all the little tricks to get it to work. It still did not work. So I took it back to Walmart to get another stick. Guess what? This one did not work either. It did the same things. It goes back to Walmart today. While trying to get my first new stick to work the genius from Roku told me to try to pair my Roku 3 remote to the stick. This did not work either. ..

THEN when I tried to pair the Roku 3 remote back to my roku 3 it would not pair. ..Eventually after nearly 2 hours of trying it did pair. BUT now even with fresh batteries and a reboot of all systems the roku 3 remote only partially works. So now I'm using my Kindle Fire as a remote for the Roku 3.

So since I want a Roku on my bedroom TV I tried to install the old purple stick back on that Tv..and guess what ? the remote will not pair at all. In fact the remote pairing screen will not appear on the TV....no matter how much I re-boot or do the "FIXES" Roku has on line...don't waste your time!

Honestly up until yesterday I seldom if ever had trouble with my Roku. Yesterday was a Roku Nightmare. I was planning to buy one of the new streaming boxes but after my experience yesterday..no way will I ever purchase another Roku product.

The recent days hasn't been too great for ya, saw your debate with "Chinese fanboy extremists" on Defence.pk and "23 meter J-20ist" on Key Publishing. Though I'm not sure if it qualifies as debating if one side just keeps bluffing and putting words into the opponent's mouth.

Anyway, hopefully this is some thing better.
Got your books!

Had two questions in mind.
Your profile shows you joined the forum in 2005.
And I guess you were into Chinese military even before then.
Why are you interested in Chinese military back then?
There really wasn't anything interesting about Chinese military until ~2010. (besides J-10)

And what keeps you invested for so long?
It's pretty hard to keep a hobby for 5 years let alone 10.
What stops you from shifting your primary interest from Chinese military to other rapidly developing ones like Indian, Russian or American?

No need to write long answers, or answering at all if you don't want to.
I'm just a bit curious, not conducting an interview :D
